I came over from Kim’s channel, you girls had a great idea, how fun. I really liked how you paired the blue willow plates with the red transferware. I think I have enough pieces to copy your idea. I also enjoyed watching you make the pavlova dessert, one of my favorites but I’ve always thought it was too difficult to make, maybe now I will give it a go. Thanks!
Welcome Jennifer! We are so glad to have you over from Kim's channel (I LOVE her channel - she is so creative!). Give the pavlova a try - it is really quite easy and makes such a pretty presentation. I would love to know if you give it a try! Take Care!
Paula and Kathleen, Your garden party tablescapes are just beautiful and charming as you incorporate your treasured pieces. Thank you for your inspiration and encouragement to create our own. Romance the ordinary and make any day a special day ❤
Paula, so glad we have connected and I can not wait to get together!! I know we will be great friends!! I just love that yellow mixer!!!! And I would love to sit down at your table for a bit if that pavlov!!! ❤😊 Kathleen, I think you need to make a trip to SC soon so that we can all meet up! I love all the strawberries on your tablescape! Those vintage linens are everything!!🍓🍰
Thanks so much Kim! I am so looking forward to getting together I know we will have so much fun! I have had that yellow mixer for nearly 35 years! It was a Christmas gift from my parents when I had my first home. I always joke that if my house was on fire I would grab my kids and that mixer! LOL
The desert looks delicious and I love the dishes! I agree with having fresh whipped cream! Kathleen’s table is gorgeous with the strawberries! You know I love those! Thank you so much for the shoutout and I look forward to getting together with you and Kim someday!
Looks delicious! My mom and grandmother always put the bowl and beaters in the refrigerator before making the whipped cream. It really does cut the time making the whipped cream.
Thanks so much - now that you mentioned about refrigerating the bowl and beaters - I can remember my grandmother doing the same thing! I will try that next time. Thank you for that great tip!

Greetings from California - I'm a fan even more. I see the towel over your shoulder. My dad always cooked family meals that way - I do too and so do my daughter and son. And when my mom (a New Englander from Somerville, MA) had dinner parties she always ordered meringue cups from the bakery and filled them with berries. Nice to see your DIY version.
Thank you so much! My mother always has a towel over her shoulder - and so did my grandmother! It must be genetic! LOL. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I hope you give the pavlova a try - it is a fun dessert to make!
