I can always count on you to provide accurate information about whatever you AR sharing on your channel. Thank you so much for your feedback about the knitwear design books. I was able to purchase two of them online through Amazon, used. Thank you so much again. Take care, Stephanie from California
This episode reminded me that I have a knitting book by Gertrude Taylor, called America's Knitting Book, copyright 1958 & 1974. which talks about lining knit garments and using interfacing for collars, etc. It covers pretty much every knit garment type. I like the illustrations because they look like they are hand drawn with useful information. I had forgotten that I purchased it! Now down this rabbit hole. Purchased from Hinds Hospice Thrift store, proceeds go to Hinds Hospice. I could tell the lady who owned this booking loved it, was possibly an avid knitter, and perhaps designed her own garments. She added a pretty label inside with "Belongs to: Suzy Ogata" hand written on it. I searched every book in the craft section and found one other book with her label: Erica Wilson's Embroidery Book, copyright 1973. All in beautiful condition. 😅It's an honor to care for them on my own knitting journey. Hugs from California! Stephanie
Ohh, thank you for this -- I will have to look for that book! I love second hand books that were obviously loved, it's like you are owning a bit of history instead of just buying a new book.
I recently got a copy of The Knitter's Guide to Sweater Design. I really like it. Lots of information.

You're welcome!
Your videos are sometimes dangerous. 😂 I found and bought two of the books you recommended (Michelson and Paden).
