Really!? We're going to have to take our big sticks next time! The best smallmouth fishing was around the interstate area, too. Thanks for checking it out!
KY Outdoors Media I usually fish upstream all the way up to the dam. For smallies I usually go with a 3/8 oz Bitsy Bug with a craw trailer in green pumpkin. Rock bass love them too. Occasionally a big green sunfish or war mouth will inhale it.
Any good spots to bank fish Drakes Creek? I'm disabled and don't think I could float it. I'll be in the area in mid-September on the way to Macon, GA and would like to catch a few before we leave the state.
This is in my brothers backyard. Can't wait to fish it tomorrow. The Ned rig is awesome in creeks.
Hope you did well. We'll be back in the spring.
I love the ned rig!
I do too! It is a must have in my tackle box!
@@EasternOutdoorsMedia I also like the whopper plopper for summertime smallies on the stream!
RhinoJoe Outdoors Didn’t have any luck with the whopper plopper that day.
You guys were fishing in my secret spot! LOL. Go on down past the interstate and you hit musky territory.
