Great video again @Giel Sweertvaegher ! Would really like to see how these photoshoots are planned (If that is possible of course), and maybe some raw footage (Though I am aware of the audio issues this might present being in the aircraft etc so I don't mean without editing/music if needsbe) of the shoot in progress and around the shows/site you are at, similar to this, the RIAT video and the Warbirds one from Shuttleworth perhaps? Either way the cinematics and videos like these are always really cool to see! And thanks for sharing with us all! Pretty much what you are posting already is great! Look forward to the next one 👍
Thanks for the kind words! The planning part is quite difficult because it usually happens way beforehand by asking air forces for permission. It's basically paperwork. The briefings are also mostly done by an extended briefing document and a second real life briefing either face to face or over the phone. There will be some of that in one of the future behind the scenes videos from RIAT. Showing more of what is going on in the plane during a flight is a good idea. I now often focus on getting the shot of the plane rather than the whole scene. Definitely something that would be worth a video in the upcoming season! 👍🏻 This year I didn't have a look at the Shuttleworth collection but I might be adding some RIAT stuff to a later video about the flights we did there. Will document more of that next season for sure as I want to expand from the air to air videos.
What other aspects of air to air/aviation photography would you like to see in these videos?
