my main reason to play yu gi oh is to do something different than meta for more troll/fun like this man.

I only just now discovered this video, and looking at the decklist, I appreciate how it only has 4 SRs and 0 URs, making it an easy-to-build, yet still effective and fun deck.
Its a breath of fresh air amongst all the channels that are always build decks filled to the brim with SR and UR cards only.

He would win sooner with 2 Dark Cure and 1 Bad Reaction to Simochi most of the time opponents special summon multiple times in one turn and that's a big downfall with these 3 continuous traps.

I didnt had much fun in the last few weeks playing the game since everything is full of meta decks. But this deck gave me so much motivation back. I love these unusual kinds of yugioh Decks outplaying your enemy and killing them with smth they probably havent been seeing in a long while. Thanks for bringing the joy back into playing this game for me :)

The meta is all about draw, summon, draw, special summon, draw, link summon, draw, Xyz summon, draw, tribute summon, draw and so on. So this troll deck is a menace XD
I used to run most of those cards when I was a kid, 2 chain energy with a chain burst was usually enough my opponent resigned on the spot, but I never thought it would be this effective in modern Yu-Gi-Oh this is amazing and has made me very happy!

It's so funny to when the majority of those games can be won if they just summon one monster and keep attacking. It's almost like people won't adapt their play style to the deck they are playing against

Tbh if your opponent spammed the field with a strategy he probably looked up somewhere, than it is more than deserved that he destroys himself. I use the same burn strategy, but with slightly different cards. Great deck.👍

My opponent beat himself once. I had two Blue-Eyes out on the field. My opponent used brain control to mess with me. He used that field card that allows you to sacrifice lp instead of monsters to summon another Blue-Eyes. He was gonna finish me. He had my Blue-Eyes attack my Blue-Eyes. BAM. Magic Cylinder. That sequence of events won the game for me.

I run similar cards with my lair of Darkness deck. It’s burn with the addition of tributing my opponents monsters for more trap disruption searches.

Seems like an older deck wouldn't have as much of an issue dealing with all these burn cards. Something like fire fists could just use gorilla and cardinal to deal with the backrow.
I play this kind of "hitback-burn" decks from the beginning, i mean from the DM era until now.

@@duelfuel4winsmasterduel When i played with my "attack me, and you will lose" and "custom chain mill" decks at locals, around the GX era, the guys never talked to me anymore, just when we did duels, and after a while they got pissed off my trolling, loop, stall, burn, mill techniques, that I got banned from the shop, not just the competitions :D
Then synchros came, and I got screwed up. Nowadays I run a Timelord-Lava golem-Kaiju deck, just for trolling ofc. Oh and i built a deck around not letting my op draw cards other than draw phase, and deny any special summons. I play an old-school, slow paced, tactical game, but need to adapt to new things :) People say, these are no brainer decks, but the fact is you really need to think out combos, that work out no matter what you draw. Sorry for long post and bad english.....

This is why players should only be allowed one link summon per turn, serves your opponent right.
I get that a lot of yugiboomers hate link monsters and combo decks but this really is the most deranged take.
@@Toxica47 personally if they limited the way they were summoned more i'd be cool with it. the original purpose was to slow down pendelum summoning but now they're just as fast themselves
@@yuukihanato9691 slowing down the game isn't the fix yugiboomers think it is. I get that links feel fast paced, even compared to other summoning mechanics, but that IS their gimmick, they're cards that combo into eachother to build bigger things. they're links in a (metaphorical) chain. If you want something slow, go play an older format or try floowandereeze lmao
@@Toxica47 no I'm fully fine with the way they chain summons, it's the fact that you get a full field of powerhouses with broken effects turn 1 that's the problem. That's why pendulums were originally busted and what link monsters were supposed to fix. I'd think link chaining into 1 powerful or even 2 powerful monsters would be fine the problem is when my opponent ends up with 4 omni negates and an entire backrow turn 1 off of 1 or 2 cards that's a little ridiculous to me. Link monsters are the least restricted on summon requirements out of all extra deck monsters that it makes creating an almost unstoppable board before you're opponent can do anything a bit to easy.
@@yuukihanato9691 Link monsters are the least restricted and also, shockingly, DON'T have much in the way of generic omni negates. Those usually come from OTHER card types. There's STRONG generic link monsters, and there deserves to be. Yes, decks can put a lot of presence on board now, thats just how things work with power creep. Limiting links wouldnt stop that, it'd just mean you see only fusion, synchro or xyz decks putting up boards of omni negates. Which they already do.
Tried different variants of Lab burn with cards like Bye Bye dmg (Stovie in atk is such a great bait...) or Blast held by destiny, but all are just nornal traps, and while I know of a way to set continuous traps fron deck (Paleozoic Marella + Booby trap E), never had thought on these... Of course not Skull invitation cause otherwise I would kill myself, but Darkness seems spicy

This is exactly why I love old-school burn cards such as Chain Energy and Skull Invitation. Just let your opponent burn themselves because they always want to commit to using their full deck and extra deck.
Lightning storm does set cards only, so they have to use harpie's feather duster. I wager you run Gryphon Wing just to troll XD

i love this deck, but is there any way to add some protection for your continuous traps and spell cards, because everyone can pull a lightning storm or a harpie's feather duster and ruin the combo.
I play a similar deck, but i use Lava-Golem, Swords of revealing Light and Nibiru instead of Toll and Coffin Seller.

I would have loved to plat a deck like this irl. I made a similar concept and the dudes ego was so fragile that he refused to do anything. We literally sat there until one of our decks burned out because he didn't want to take a single point.
I think the first guy raged because he got tired of waiting for the chain to resolve 🤣 and then why did the second guy continue to summon after the battle phase 😂

Only if the opponent is dumb and doesn't play around it. So many of these could have been won by the opponent just normal summoning one monster and just keep swinging every turn.

I was playing duel links the other day I had the first turn and I made my move so my opponent had his turn and in that turn he ended up with 10 cards in his graveyard I couldn’t even understand how he ended up with a monster with 15,000 in ATK 😅

When you only play meta that you fried your brain to the point of bot like auto-summon to link4 despite of getting your LP burned and pass instead of attacking
I once almost beat my opponent on the first turn by using trickstar and he responded with maxx c, and yeah I failed.

For all purposes Marshmallow does it better, as it burns, instead of stalling for measly 500 LP (At the end phase... At that point better run Old man's Cauldron)

Still, is going away from the goal of the deck, which is to burn opponent instead of buy 1k per turn till opponent figures how to get rid of it... Not even in Aromages has a slot, as for some reason is a goddamn rock (KONAMI!!!)

This is one of the reasons i quit playing master duel. Not because of the deck itself but because the chain activation set up is super annoying. Why didnt they just have the cards add up the damage dealt and inflict a total amount. Not the way its set up.

In the event going on now, i didnt have the cards to build a real deck so i used time lord burn, and the amount of time dimension wall made my oppent commit suicide is unholy. I can drink and smoke until i cant walk or talk straight and still maintain a 55% win rate with the deck. Not in ranked though lol ive tried
