And also searching a course for preparing for TCS NQT
But as a fresher level we dont think much about joining whether a product based or service based , any company join where anyone get chance to work on specific interest of skillset and gain some good practical learning experience is good enough.
Well that's not the case with everyone
Some people are more interested to work in product based companies as they pay more
Mostly Service base company don't give choice of domain.. it depends on your lucj

I believe a person who has worked in both Product Based Company and Service Based Company should answer this question, as you have generalised the service based firms with no experience of your own!

Not 100% correct. I'm working in a Service Based Company. My project + learning curve is too good. So we can't generalize.

@Rajat Maske so you mean learning curve can't be without DSA and algorithms. Have you heard the role of Data Scientist? They don't have knowledge of DS and algo and yet earn more than guys who know DS and algo.
@Rajat Maske okay let's even get Data Scientists out of the equation. The top management in product companies CMO and all, Do you think they also know your DS and algo? Even 100 employees knowing DS and algo can't match their salary 😂.

The main difference between product based and service based is Salary package to every candidate, i am currently working in startup company to learn as much as possible for future growth to switch my career directly into product based company with working in good implementation and development projects.
But how will increasing skill in random technologies help to get into product-based companies? Anyway, they're mostly going to ask leetcode based questions to candidates.

How would you consider a case where a tier 3 student with minimal development experience goes for a service based company and in the mean time develops coding skill and whatever experience gaining from the current company and then goes for a product based company after a year or two, is it possible in this scenario?
Your experience will not be count if you work in service based companies

well explained .But I got into service based company and work culture is same as product based , working as a developer and if I complete my work even in an hour I am not asked to work 8-9 hours. :).Just wanted to share some projects in Service based companies are much similar to product based where we learn each day and grow.

Choose any Skillset AWS, BLOCKCHAIN, CLOUD COMPUTING, DATA SCIENCE, Python Devlopment, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning,Oracle, Salesforce, These are the highest salary paying jobs in any IT Companies, either it is service based or product based, Make anyone of these skills strong and build career in IT industry.

@ashika gupta, i dont agree, that in service based company, they will give enough time to finish the project... because i am also working at service based company, where project is very huge, for which we had only 3 months of duration... we worked so hard day and night to finish it... not always provide time to finish the projects

From business point yes they are service providing companies but software point se definition thodi alag hai. Ola ki website app aur tech wo khud manage krri h to usko product based company bolte h aur agar app website ye sab khud banane ki jagah kisi aur company ko bolde ki aap bana do. Ex: SBI kaam tcs ko de de karne ke liye to tcs service based company hui

Not at all correct..This shows you have no experience of corporate. Service based companies also have development projects having learning curve and product based companies do have maintenance roles. Also, chaging teams in service based is far more easy than in product based company.
