They usually leave u alone tho if ur not associated with them bc its more trouble but i do have family tht has farms and shit who know ppl tht are partners with the cartel for their farms. I find it very amusing to see how differently they all style the exact same clothing item-- Ted buttons it up all the way so it looks like pajamas, Charlie leaves one button at the top open so it's like a button-up, Schlatt leaves it fully open so it looks like a button-up on a t-shirt, and Quackity folded the edges and opened it halfway so it looks like a suit jacket

Schlatt really wasn't lying about the impact of his Tribute to Minecraft. Based on the trend data, it was at a 26/100 in terms of google's data, but after May 6th 2018, when the video came out it generally increased. It fluctuated, of course, but generally speaking there was in fact a gradual increase! Thanks Big Guy! lol

And that lead to people trying to accuse him for doing things, he didn't do they way they are portrayed.
It came mainly from dsmp-antis (those who hate for absolutely no reason. They don't even really know what they are hating, they're just assholes for attention.)
Twitter had a roll with it and now he is widely known for doing controversial things that he gets cancelled for, that aren't bad and just twisted out of context or he didn't even do at all...
cancel-culture is a thing with everyone who has a big audience. And Schlatt decided to not apologize for things he didn't do, to not make it a problem of his life, if people don't like him. And that bugs exactly those people and they continue to try to cancel him and twist things out of context...
He is a great person, if you actually watch him for a bit of time and in different situations, you see he is incredibly nice and a good friend.
And the fact that he has such a wide group of friends and his friends all don't care about him being cancelled by twitter, defending him and not changing his friendship with him, speaks volumes about his real person.
Schlatt said that no one wanted to admit that he helped make Minecraft popular again, but that's not true, actually. Philza said in one of his streams, I don't remember which one, that "A Tribute to Minecraft" along with a couple other factors absolutely led to the MC Renaissance! I wonder if Schlatt knows this? Maybe he'll see this comment, probably not realistically, but I kinda want him to know Philza gave him the credit.

You should take a look at his older vods uploaded on TH-cam from 2019 that was when he was in his prime :)

as someone who doesnt watch streams as much, ive only seen the clip of schlatt talking spanish to quackity (and ofcourse on quackity's channel) but they seem like they have such a wholesome same-page friendship and thats just awesome.
It's a shame that some people have to throw a fit when quackity does anything with schlatt as if they control what he does and who he talks to.
The content where they are together is my absolute favorite. I really wish people wouldn’t get mad when schlatt does anything with anyone, because he sure does have amazing chemistry with Quackity and it makes for amazing videos

This video aged so significantly in so many ways, from Quackity at the beginning to this podcast to now, there's such a crazy difference.
as someone who knows nothing about quackity, what ended up happening with him? Like is it a drastic good change or a drastic bad change? I only ask because I keep seeing content creators getting accused of heinous stuff and quackity seems like a nice dude from what I see in this video, hope things went ok for him
@@mollysmakery Drastic good - I haven't really been able to keep up with him since the end of August, but from March until then (and presumably still now), his server - QSMP - has brought almost nothing but good. It's very obviously his passion project, and you can see the amount of time and effort he puts into it. Last I heard, he was paying for the server out of his own pocket, which is absolutely insane.
I recommend looking around for clips of him talking about the server and what it means to him (the answer is, very plainly, quite a lot).
@@mollysmakery its going really well for him! he has a multilingual server called the qsmp which has a bunch of creators from different countries playing on there, he seems to have built a pretty strong friend group and community :)

I’m really not the biggest fan of the DSMP because of fandom n stuff, but seeing Quackity (a streamer I’ve watched since his ToonTown content) be so happy with it genuinely makes my day. His content really isn’t my thing anymore, but I still join in to his streams and show my support because it’s clear to see that he’s having so much fun.
