Yes, I totally agree. I have the curl secret machine and love it! The curls stay all day and I love how I can get multiple curl looks with one curling tool. My only issue is that I have REALLY long hair so sometimes I have to recurl the bottoms. But other than that I love it!
With the one curler the brand is Xtava. There is a clip on the curler you're not supposed to manually wrap your hair on it. You pull the clip down and twist the curler till your hair gets to the top of the grooves.

Before you do beauty breaks in general, READ something about the products and HOW TO USE THEM! Don't make up their use! People actually watch these videos and they believe you, so before saying that it doesn't work, search something about the objects online

I don't find it difficult to use, not saying anything bad towards you Laura! You just have to make sure the heat is appropriate for your thickness of hair,you should not have any tangles and only small sections at a time :)
I had a similar experience with my friend when I was using it on her hair, it worked about four times and we were really impressed until it started getting her hair stuck and I had to rip it out of the thing so it wouldn't burn off. I'm definite I was using it right, we must have re-read the instructions ten times and we even watched a video to make sure we were doing it right but in the end we gave up because it was too dangerous.
I have that exact one. You have to let it heat up first until it beeps and then you put the hair in. I sounds like yours is defective because mine works perfectly.

I did Irish step dance for a bit! I was never very good, but I didn't do it that long. My sister did it a lot longer though, and she was really good. If she didn't quit because of college, she would for sure have made nationals, and then worlds, she just never got a chance to go to the competition.

We called them elephant dryers but I don't know if that is the actual name! And hooded dryers are the big ones you either wheel around or are attached to the wall.
