      ...or the misleading title
I personally cringe every time someone spells BMW like bíííemmdabya.

I had a 1966 just like that in the early 70's, it was great & I wish it was still mine.!!!!!
Wish you would of stepped BACK a bit, a few times.!!! To many close ups &. Not enough
    overall view to enjoy.

Nice, but my 68 was as nice if not better. Not a point of brag, but fact. . Mine wasn't "rescued" from the original owner, a German tourist . I bought it from him in Reno Nevada in 1980 after his tour of Canada and the US. Original leather Denfeld bags. More factory chrome goodies such as the headlamp guard and taillight guard. Whisker mirrors off the headlamp, crash guards etc. A flawless machine which did not have to be taken apart.
I sold mine to a collector in San Francisco and bought a mint 1969 R69US. I also had a 1965 R69S "daily driver". I sold it to a guy who rode it to Texas where he restored it.
I have owned a total of 15 BMW bikes. My favorite(s) R60/5 and my 1986 Paris Dakar.
Don't be so quick to dismiss other people who may have similar experiences who are not "flippers".

Looks like the guy is kinda green.. The Petcock was turned in the off position before the start up??? Gas was in the lines thats why it started but there is no way in hell that bike could run for very long in the petcock position.. OFF. Lol!!!

That is an original EVERBEST Petcock & the fuel was OFF in the down position before he moved to on in the lateral position. This is not a Honda!

How can you leave tires from the 60's on it. It's a safety issue. They must be hard as stone by now. They will have no grip anymore.

That large tank is of course original but no r69s came equipped with it from the factory, it was some r60´s that had those tanks, at an extra cost of course. Beatiful bike.

6.09 minutes for a BMW for a BMW cold start. Rubbish. It was pre-warmed if my experience of my R80/7 is anything to go by! Beemer flat twins are notorious for not wanting to start from cold. Joking aside, nice bike.
