#1000DaysEveryDayEnglish My goal is to watch every day with my learning friend in Italy one short english lesson with Ben. Thank you Ben for teaching english.
Recently I have just bought the very best course of English available (Ben’s course obviously). I couldn’t be more pleased with that purchased. Not only is it great, but it will also push me to get my wished C1. Thank you for your work and your very flawless lessons.
Hello Ben! You are one of the best English teachers I've ever seen on TH-cam and I would like to ask you a question. I am currently sitting for a B2 English Exam (ECCE, a test developed by the University of Michigan and from Cambridge) but I believe that I am currently at the C1 level because I get good scores on the test and I use the language every single day. How much time will it take to prepare for the Cambridge Proficiency Exam? I also want to thank you very much for your amazing content!
Hi Ben. Do you have any video where you talk about idioms, phrases, and expressions, and what their differences are? If not, would you consider to make one about it? Thank you very, very much!
Your videos are at the very top of my preferences, that's why I usually get hooked on your lessons from the very first minute. BTW, I've noticed something strange in your voice from the very beginning.... have you caught a cold? If so, get well soon! 🤗
I was surprised when you said that the usage of very as an adjective for emphasis is from the c2 level . I always hear it while watching Manchester City matches .When Haaland pocked in the box ,and out of nowhere, he scores ! Commentators say :"He scored his first goal from the very first touch ! One touch one goal !"
I just got my results for the CAE C1 exam and I got 199 points , should I contest the results? The speaking was rated kinda low in my opinion ( at 195 ). How does it go with the contestations , on the cambridge site it says you could get a lower grade or there is no change at all but i think in the speaking part of the exam is much more interpretable.
Greetings, Ben. Thank you for this video. I think it answered a question I had but I wanted to confirm a usage of very that I think you missed. I believe it's probably a variation (no pun) on the "particular" definition example. The instances are as follows : Someone's very existence. Maintaining one's very sanity. Saving one's very soul, or very own soul. Whether or not you get a chance to see this comment, thanks again for the video. Cheers.
The best part of the video is the joke about the conditionals(jajajaja).Really Ben,you are a great teacher.I find something special in your videos.I know that you make them with all the love in the world. One thing,I have the c1 advanced the 5 of june, can you wish me luck???
The very thing I like about you is your English and you transmit it very well on TH-cam

at the very end of the video, i noticed my understanding of "very" is very sophisticated and reached its very limits.
I have come across these uses in books and movies. I've also used them too. Thanks for the lesson.

Thanks for the video! Great explanation, and your videos are timed very well, not too short and not too long!
Very useful indeed. Thank you very much for the very best video about the use of very!
You're very welcome! 😃
This is the very lesson I've needed to understand all the meanings of the word "very" 😊
Excellent! 😃
You know what? You are the very best survivor 😊

Hey Ben, hope you are well. Thanks for the lesson.
I look forward to seeing you again in your next lesson, hopefully with either MONTY or GIDEON.
Not the next video, but maybe in the future
This is very new to me thank you so much
First like teacher Ben! 👍. You still didn’t answer what I need to do to have a beautiful hair.
Do you really want greying and thinning hair? 🤷🏻♂️
@@tothepointenglishwithben. Thank you teacher Ben. It was the very answer I expected for!
Thanks Teacher ❤
Great content, as usual! By the way, what about the expression "that is the very reason why"? Does it fall into it?
Yes. In your example, "very" is an adjective. 👍
Hi! Are these uses formal or the very opposite? Thanks😊

BTW, I've noticed something strange in your voice from the very beginning.... have you caught a cold? If so, get well soon! 🤗
Yes, I had a cold at the time of recording the video but I'm better now. Thanks 🙂
Good evening Ben. Example: John's grandparents at their very late were suffered by dementia.
I wish it's correct..
It's not correct, I'm afraid. Are you using "very" as an adverb or an adjective here?
As an adverb..I used it as an alternative to: the latest years

Yes. Nice example!
The very best idea to have improved speaking skills may be going through your lessons and kick off practising!
Did I like this video? Very much so.

I had a hard time scraping the episode out of my mind because it was at its very bottom
I follow you on Instagram. Please, spread more content on that social! Thank you!! 😂

Hey Ben, where can I rate your course?
You should be able to leave a review and rate the course on the course platform, at the end. Let me know if you can't and I'll look into it
Thanks, I left my review!
I've just read your lovely and comprehensive review. Thank you so much and well done on your exam!
Thank you berry buch (sorry, got a running nose)
😆
I want to be the very best ;)
In Italian... It's a mistake! You cannot use "very" in these phrases!!! 😅😅
I have the very oldest iphone😅
Your voice sounds different. Did you catch a cold?
Concise, useful and very interesting lesson, as usual! Thanks a lot, Ben!

I was watching this video when my housemate broke into my room and she didn't let me finish the very end
You need to find a new housemate! 😃
