Great review, Matt! I wasn’t aware this was based on an existing board game, but it makes total sense. I was always curious about this one, seeing ads in magazines and such, but didn’t pick up a copy until a couple years ago. I look forward to the challenge. Happy New Year!
It's less of a board game and more of the kind of wooden brain teaser puzzles you can buy I think. It's rather cool either way, I've been into the idea of picking up a set of Chinese Tangrams for ages, so might have to add some Pentominos to the list haha! Happy New year dude, thanks for the constant support and all the best in 2018!
Happy New Year buddy! You probably do/did at some point mate, it's pretty common in the UK despite not getting an official release there! Cheers for watching and all the best in 2018 mate!
It's fair Kyle, as I said, it's probably not something I'll play again, though I do now want to get some wooden Pentominos, there are some really nice 'coffee table' puzzles out there :) Cheers for watching dude and wish you all the best in 2018! Happy New Year!
Daedalus is the genius of Greek mythology that threaded a conch shell, designed the Labyrinth to house the Minotaur, and make functional wings out of wax and feathers.
This game really has me wishing for touchscreen. Manoeuvering the pieces with the D-Pad and buttons feels somewhat unintuitive from a modern perspective. Other than that, it's been really enjoyable so far. And your review just made me want to go and pick it up again to finish it!
Haha I'm sure if you browsed the app store, there'll be something similar to this, the only issue would be it wouldn't have half the charm :( Glad to see the review inspired you to give it a play again! Good luck on beating it and thanks for watching :)
I'd seen it while in Tokyo and assumed it was Sokoban lol... It probably worked well back in the day for tricking people into thinking it was, it just backfired on me picking up a second hand cart! Cheers for watching dude & enjoy the game!
I've toyed with the idea of doing 'Shmuptember' now for a few years, so maybe I'll hold onto Solar Striker until then... That said, I love that game...
Always loved the music for this!
You and me both Paul! Thanks for watching :)
Great review and I never knew this existed! Great music and might pick this up! 👍

Happy new year Matt, I'm sure I have/had this as I remember the weird cart art!

Great video my friend and happy new years!!
Cheers dude, your support is always appreciated! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, GB!
Cheers Shino! Same to you :) Thanks for watching!
I remember the ads for this one back when I got Gamepro Magazine. I love the box art, but this just isn't something that interests me. Happy New Year!

Until the wings melted and old Daedalus went SPLAT
Great episode. Fun game, gotta love a game that provides pronunciation assistance on the front of the box :p
Haha indeed, saves me pronouncing the game name wrong the entire time and getting told off for it in the comments xD Cheers for watching dude!

Daedalian Opus 2 on DSiWare or 3DS Eshop would've been lovely.
0:50 Mate, is that a stastika? lol
Sorry for the late reply! It's Boxxle / Soukoban!
Always up for a good puzzler :-)
Give it a go and let me know what you think! Happy New Year!
Good stuff, recently got the JPN version, love the art on that one.

Solar Striker Review?
