I bought this GT recently. It's my first bike. Before this I drove only my mom's scooty. 😂
Hyderabad ke traffic mein bhai sahab. Left palm ki band baj jaati hai. Initial 1 month I was like bhai kyu khareed li ye bike. I couldn't even push the bike in reverse if there was a slight incline or if like the wheel got stuck in a manhole depression. At times my palm pained so much clutch chor deta thaa galti se and the bike would stall with a jerk.
But I didn't give up. Went for rides, 10km, 20km, 30km, 80km and now it feels like a piece of cake. Although palms mein pain ka issue abhi bhi hai.
Hi bro, I am planning to buy GT 650 but also confused with interceptor. Can you please share your thoughts and from where you have purchased in Hyderabad and the price/offers/accessories?

I used to drive r15. I think dont put too much weight onto your hands. You can do this by holding the handle bar gentler.
The palm pain is because of your posture. You're putting too much weight on your hands.
You have to hold your bike with your legs and thighs and should put minimal weight on your hands.
You back will pain but with time it will become stronger and hurt less.
But your palms will not become stronger, the padding won't increase and it will result in repetitive strain injuries.
Please make a video upon how to maintain your bike. It would be helpful to those who just bought this beautiful machine.
Nery bhai you work on Sinch that is on 7th flore I guess and I work in MAQ Software which is on 2nd flore ETT tower 2, from my home also office is 17 km and I'm also commuting daily using meteor 🙂

i dont like that type of racing bike like ktm ..m15 etc...
and bike sound is not so imp for me than bike looks ...
I like CONTINENTAL in look and power ...
but in LOOK i like HUNTER ...
For clg purpose gt 650 is useless , obviously less mileage , heating issues , pillion seat is also not that good , if you like the looks of hunter , go for it , approx 38 kmpl , comfortable and neat as a commuter
