As a semi-retired pro (35+ years) I have been doing some Real Estate photography to keep active. Your videos are some of the cleanest no nonsense offerings on TH-cam. My workflow is nearly identical and still I’m able to glean a lot of good tips and info. It appears, due to your demand and full schedule, your pace is much faster than mine doing this property in less than 20 minutes. I currently do 2 - 3 properties a week and that is all I want to do. I know you farm out your editing of images, but I do my own LR & Photoshop work as I enjoy keeping proficient and have ultimate control. I wish my color and editing skills were as good as your editing team! Yours is some of the cleanest editing on par with photographer in multi-million dollar property work! I am truly enjoying the work you do and hope to see more from you in the future. Another great job!

I really appreciate those kind words! And that’s awesome that you have been doing photography for that long! So that means a lot for you to say that! I’m glad you’re here!

why not a 1 point for that awesome fireplace? also, when you say you dont like cutting off the door frames, I actually prefer to show it and cut it off just so people get the perspective of where it leads to. great video as always

That’s a good point! I definitely could’ve taken a one-point of that fireplace as well!

This is definitely something that I’m diving into fully in my community! I’m sure I’ll do a TH-cam video touching on some of this, but it’s so much to talk about on yt haha

Nice post! Watched it again today! :) Straight to the point! A few questions if you don't mind... 1) what are the settings for your HDR/brackets? I know it varies according to the situation, but in general you play with ISO/Shutter & Fstop until the meter shows "0" or you push it a bit to the right (ETTR)...2) it is a MUST fro Real State photos & videos to show at least 3 walls...? (3 point perspective...) How do you determine when to go to "2 point" or "1 point"? & last 3) I'd love to see you doing a bigger property (high end) to see how you manage your photos and videos... (if you still use HDR or you opt for flash and ambient, etc...) Thanks man! keep up the great work! cheers!

For the most part, my camera settings, stay the same. F8, iso 800, awb, and my shutter speed changes depending on how much light is available. I just get the middle exposure in the middle and fire off the brackets!
And I could do a luxury house! I shoot them the same way as I do any other house!

@@tyler_fraser thanks mate! yes, I'd love to se how you do a "high end" house or similar... and either seeing you use HDR or "flambient" . Cheers! Ps: I suppose You use 3 point perspective for the important areas.. and 2 point for smaller rooms right? cheers!

@@wildpatagoniafilms16 two and three-point perspectives are used situationally. Sometimes I will do a three-point perspective when I am trying to include the third wall to show size reference.

I always use five brackets, just to make sure I have enough information between the photos!

Finished photos so bright and shadowless - has no depth or life to it. Consider having your edits leave some of those shadows.
