I saw Star Wars in the theater, I wore underoos ( Green lantern and Spider-Man mostly ) listened to books on vinyl via Power Records and my first comic I bagged and boarded was Captain Marvel 48. I had all but 3 books in this video when I was a kid. My siister stole my entire collection from me and gave it to my nephew ( he took inspiration from me, eventually becamme a collector himself and is a signature facilitator at conventions now ) and he was completely irresponsible with my collection and the entire collection ruined in a flooded basement. He and his mother are and have always been horrible people and I hope the people I am becoming familiar with in the community as I have fully gotten back into collecting again for the last 7 years, do not associate with him. I decided to do videos as I live in Berlin, Germany now and ii thiink making youtube videos of an American collector collecting American comics in Germany could be very interesting for people plus I am just someone who loves comics and have always loved comics for as long as I can remember. I just wish if there was anything from that collection I would wish to have back is the original artwork created for me by Richard and Wendi Pini of Elfquest characters, my mother found a way to contact them through the man who owned my LCS when I was growing up and my mother gave me that artwork as a gift for my 16th birthday.
I mentioned at the end that I paid low enough to double my money and still keep some books. The seller asked me to keep it between us but I’ll say I paid under $1000.
