honestly, i used the variable zoom on this more than the low power scope. The 1x zoom felt like a more precise version of the low power scope, and with less idle sway i feel
g11 should be in other games imo. But because it was exclusive to BO1, to my knowledge (please correct me if I’m wrong) it makes this gun even more classic and special. This was a great gun with great memories.
The G11 was honestly one of my fav guns of all time... if you learnt how to properly adjust to a playstyle and use long range fights, it would just win everytime!

Mandela effect is when a lot of people have the same false memory though, so unless a load of people all remembered this gun being a four round burst it’s not really Mandela effect.
I think @Forunate was specifically thinking about the Berenstain/Berenstein Bears effect. But, as @markdonovan8884 mentioned, it refers to a *_collective_* false memory.

I just remembered in high school a kid was running down the hall yelling "G11 !!!" lmao. I used to use the Famas a lot, but I do remember the G11 being the GOAT. Felt so strong to use.
Man seeing gameplay from the older CODS like Bo1 makes me wish I could experience this game in its prime for again at least one weekend. I played this game as a kid and I used to be so trash at it I think if i got another chance now that I am older I would definitely be way better at it lol
It’s crazy how fast this gun melted people. Like this was probably one of the best burst weapons of all time. The famas is the only reason more people didn’t use it
I used it from time to time. The meta of FAMAS and AK74u got tedious quickly, and like you said, it's a sick looking gun this.

@@ohhAszoo depending on the time, but tbh I never have trouble finding a server especially in the morning PST, ALSO you gotta find a match on CORE TDM or S&D other than that its gonna be hard to find a game

Crazy thing is they actually only made 2 real working G11s, i seen one in use at Aberdeen Proving grounds in 98. That thing was stupid crazy. But a real POS if something would have a malfunction in a real warzone
I think the choke point would be the caseless ammo moreso than the rifle itself
@@Jerrycourtney the caseless ammo wasn't actually 100% caseless. It did have a metal primer that went out the end of the barrel. However the anmo was submerged in water for over 20 minutes then put straight into the gun and fired without any malfunctions
@@Jerrycourtney i think it was a 4.73mm projectile. It was stupid accurate in 3rd burst. But "COOK OFF" in the chamber was a real possibility. No way to remove the heat. But the biggest claim to the the accuracy was. The 3rd round was leaving the barrel before the user felt the recoil. It also had a trap door in the event of a miss fire. I think it was this trapdoor that made it overly complicated along with the action.i t was a gas & spring recoil system.

@@killerratchet1973 well a projectile 20grains lighter, but moving 1000ft sec faster, not sure. But 5.56 really doesn't carry that much energy, im pretty sure its just over 1100ft lbs at the muzzle and at 1000yrd its less then a 22. But the accuracy outweighs energy every day of the week. Plus you get 3rounds off before recoiling.

This gun was never used by players, it was my favorite ever. The late kick from recoil was amazing

Fun fact: the irl G11 fires caseless ammo which is why it can fire at 2100 Rounds Per Minute (RPM) as it doesn't need to eject the spent brass casing. for context the M4A1 can fire at 750-950rpm

This was the only gun i used in black ops. I only used the sniper scope with it. Great times.

I had more kills with the G11 than the FAMAS, Commando, or the AKS74u. When they “brought it back” for _Cold War,_ although not as good, it was still incredible.

i think the g11 was used pretty frequently back in the day, one memory that comes to mind is a video by xjawz racking up 50 kills on nuketown with it. definitely saw it a lot after that lol.

loved the g11. i think people passed over it because of how bulky it looked and it was 3 round burst. definitely a sleeper gun from this game.
When it comes to stun and flash grenades, remember this simple rule: If you stun/flash an enemy, it will only last half a second, at most. If YOU get stunned/flashed, it will last an eternity. Double if you do it to yourself.
