    Awesome review. The instant focus feature is amazing. That’s what I needed. Living in bear country I was looking in getting a good flashlight with a focus feature to cover up a larger distance. There were times i heard wildlife but my lighting didn’t cover up.
    Edit: just bought one after this review. Wow this thing is bright and so compact. I’m glad I got one.

    I will say this for LEDLenser, they have great customer service. I have an F1R that went bad. A simple email and they had me send it to them and in a couple weeks, I had a new one in hand that I use every night at work. Bonus is that they told me not to ship it back with the battery or charger, so now I have two chargers and batteries for it. I have another LEDLenser that I bought in 2010 that is the granddaddy to this that still works flawless. The model escapes me, but it was rated around 190-200 lumens which was pretty good back then and it also has the one-handed zoom/flood operation as this one.

    The MT10 is a great piece of kit. The only thing that puts me off this (and most) Ledlenser lights is that they are only IP54 rated: in other words, they can withstand rain but not water submersion. Having said that, I did once drop the MT10 into a puddle at least a couple of inches deep and it came out unscathed, but I imagine if it had been left there for more than a few seconds it might have been different. Other than that it's almost perfect.

    I bought one today for the same reason ! I love the focus point. I bought it in Germany. The salesman told me it’s made in Germany or maybe he said it’s a German company

    Hi. First of all, thanks a lot for the wonderful review.
    I live in India, and am planning to buy one of these (Rechargeable ones, either the Fenix PD36R or the mt10) from the USA. Will I have problems charging this flashlight here in India, where we have a 240V supply? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks in advance!

    • @NE110M
      @NE110M 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How so ? please explain ..

    • @ahbeng888
      @ahbeng888 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Marjieh: i have seen some video of this on low setting and it appears that it utilises pulse width modulation to conserve power (you can see it in this video). AFAIK, LED Lenser’s do not utilise temperature regulation in its constant current mode for this and the MT14, only a timed step down. This means that in certain situations, you won’t get the best runtime as the LED light end up discharging the battery faster than it should. Also, most if not all LED Lensers use cool white LED bins when other manufacturers offer LED’s in neutra white bins (4000k-5000k) which help with color rendering. The one thing LED Lenser does better than the competition is the zoom system. But even so, Fenix is getting up there with it’s FD20 and FD40 flashlights which also have a great flood-spot zoom system.

    this MT10 could replace my (still nice and everyday in use) LedLenser M7R X i have since like 5 or 6 years. But i dont like the look of it, my M7R X looks so much better.
    I also threw my (theoretically not waterproof) M7R X in the water for like 30 minutes turned on as i got it, aslong you dont zoom to throw, its pretty waterproof. After the test, i read anywhere its not waterproof.... who cares, it was :D

    Great flashlight overall, the review pointed right.
    Owned one and gave it as a present to my uncle who intended to buy a 15 euros fl. I told him that a good battery is that much and gave him my mt10, almost new, very little used. All my fl look very good, only 1 is abused at work. Anyway, if i have to chose to keep only one, would be nitecore mt21c. Magnet tail and angleable head make it best for any work.

    the head is warm on high after 1 minute, but it will work normal for at least 1 hour, the time i tested. i bought 2 units and giv|away to my uncle and my brother, for fishing and bicycle. its a very good flashlight overall. the focus system is the best, included battery is great and also the recharging port.

      There medium mode and low mode to help you on the side.

      @randomescu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mollies13 its no medium, only high and low. and the high its not Turbo, its not forced. its perfectly usable for as long as the battery last. just dont touch the head. it wont be crazy hot like Olight Seeker 2 Pro after 30 seconds.

      Show us a flashlight with similar focus system for less money. Otherwise I don't get your point. The AFS is the only reason to pick flashlights from Zweibrüder aka LEDLenser. I hate corona effects, all other flashlights with focus systems have.

      I think you missed my point.
      I was stating that 99% of people have no real need for an $80.00 flashlight when high performance, normal, or just plain perfectly satisfactory flashlights and headlamps can be had for half the price, and usually much less!
      I'm simply looking for a flashlight, and/or a headlamp that possesses adjustable levels of illumination, with outputs ranging from 50 to 1,000 lumens.
      In the unlikely event that I need the light output of the Sun, a lighthouse, or a prison searchlight I know where to find them!
      However if someone like yourself insists on having a flashlight that will throw a spot, and a flood, then go ahead and spend $80.00, but there are many other similar flashlights that will do that too for less money.
      I found a few...
