COVENANT
Describes the loving relationship which God established with our forefather Abraham and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Jesus’ blood, the blood of the covenant, was shed on the cross to atone for our sins.
REFORMED
Refers to the historic branch of Christianity growing out of the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation. We are a member of the United Reformed Churches of North America, a federation of approximately 125 congregations (www.urcna.org).
CHURCH
Means we are called and chosen by God the Father, to obey Jesus Christ as Head of the church, and united in love by the Holy Spirit who displays His fruit in us.
of TORONTO
Locates us in the Greater Toronto Area with a population of over five million people. Our original church facilities were built in north Etobicoke in 1957 and recently have been renovated to enhance our ministries.
