Let me explain why dio actually hurt jotaro's mother. Yes dio does hate the joestar bloodline,but when dio got awakaned he stabbed himself with the stand arrow whic cause the rest of the joestar decadents since DIO stole jonathan's body,joseph and jotaro and holly to get stands,but holly was too weak to handle it.
