Strange that over the first several minutes of the video all those gigantic wind turbines of the future are not moving while coal trains pass them by lol
It's interesting that here in Alberta, and I would say much of Canada, went to cans only, decades ago, yet van traffic on the rail is huge in the states. Maybe double stack height restrictions in some regions there influence that.
Since when did they start running double stacks through the Powder River basin because I’ve got a lot of DVDs on the Powder River basin and I’ve never seen nothing go through that but Coal trains.
5/5 would watch again. Greetings from Indiana!
Thanks airing The outstanding video with magnificent locomotives Endeavors are prominent. Bliss
Nice Catches I am a fan of UP and Coal Drags!!!
Good catches. Great to see some “Big Macs” still in coal service.

Why are the turbines making power in the background? ... Love the sound of those big diesels
Excellent video and organization! How do you obtain the train symbols for each train? Cheers! Chris
Wow. Thank you

It's been within the last several years. There are a handful of different trains that might come down through the Basin or go via Edgemont/Alliance.

Great video! That train with the empty flatcars, what loads would that particular train carry?
Thank you! Those flatcars would carry wind turbine components of some sort.
Thank you, I was thinking that that may have been what they were for!
