Again and again... year over year I have had no doubts that this is my most favorite movie scene. And this is the best cover song of any Dylan song ever. Thank you so much.
@@42awww yeah I heard crazy stories online. Like even they said he has a twin brother or triplets. And they bust secret societies. And if one dies, then the next brother comes out to catch them red handed
I undestand. I hear a lot about that sort of thing, but somehow Dylan is just one Dylan and there willl never be another one.i spent a lifetime before I realized this!@@Boomythecatneedlemouse
Finally caught this movie on criterion and as a huge Dylan fan, this scene absolutely gutted me. Yet another song by the BARD, taken to new heights. Speaking of the BARD, Ophelia, is that you in the casket 😢
Sadly China has black listed him for ever appearing in any A list film cos of his stance against them over Dali lama and being a Buddhist. Since China owns hollyweird there’s nothing Richard Gere can do than appear in indie films that nobody watches

This actually brings tears to my eyes every time I watch the movie
Just happened to stumble across this amazing sound while watching I'm Not There, Probably the most beautiful song I have ever heard :)
Yep 👍 Darn good…! 🎺 😁 🌵✨
Is that suppose to be Bob Dylan dead sister being presented?
And one of the most amazing movies I didn't understand but still loved to pieces
Didn't knew it was "My morning jacket"'s.
I both want to thank American Dad and "He's not here" for showing me this artist.
He's amazing.
Perfect finish for my Playlist "1001 Corona Songs"...
Great 👍
I love the way he sings with, "the Band", clearly shown here. Heck, one guy even looks like Rick Danko....
I appreciate so much that the band was referenced in the scene in this way too!

whole movie is amazing
Named one of my doggos, Henry, because of this movie. He was a good boy.
Still got it in 2023!
" Haunting" is an apt word to describe this song and that scene in the movie.
I'd say "Americana" for sure too :p .. but "Somber" also

Jim James does it superbly! Also, barely noticeable despite the close-up, Conor Oberst on rhythm guitar. =)
That’s Joey Burns of the band Calexico.
@@paschkefan Thanks for pointing that out mate! =)

This movie was such a gem for Dylan Devotees

Que actor subvalorado Richard Gere no? para los que crecimos en los 80s fue nuestro Delon!
Es hermoso ❤️✨
