One of his best vocal performence. I dont think that People understand how hard this song is to sing. His vocal range is from another planet. I really hope he gets back on stage again.

My father served in WW2. When I was younger I often asked him to tell me what it was like, he always replied ''you do not want to know''.
He did tell 1 funny story about a cake (he was a cook) & 1 bewildered story re: a japanese soldier & a japanese officer POW incident, but that was all. His friends did not share either.
Over the years I have seen war documentries which show the devastation, destruction, death & pain that comes with war. Countless news reports of soldiers who come home broken, often marriages ending because they have changed, not the person they were prior to war. No-one will understand your pain unless they have experienced the same.
Thank you does not seem enough for the huge sacrifice you have given to your country & we the people.
The most I can do is ask God to help & guide you, plus send my angels to assist you in your time of need. Small steps ok, remember, you are a very special & important person!
Please connect with Veterans Affairs, they have the resources to assist you in your recovery.
Music will certainly be a great release for you, I would like to suggest DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN Kazakhstan, phenomenal artist, I am sure you will enjoy this outstanding young person.😇💞

From a kiwi thank you and all those that have fought for our freedom and against terrorism. I'm sorry to all cold chisel fans but John takes this song to another level. This legend is loved over here just as much as in Aussie. His voice is so unique he can belt out any genre of music, he is an awesome performer involves the crowd, throws the mic stand around, and you get a little comedy as well. The best entertainer there will ever be. As for you, get well mate and thank you again.

I'm 57 so we grown up in same era
You'd know noise works John Stevens singing take me back
    He's another great Aussie singer
Cheers mate for doing what you had to I know it take a toll on all of you guy's
You can't go through what you have and not be effected
It can never be the same when you guy's come home after what you're been through
Also see how ablivious most people don't understand and go about their lives unaware
As I said to once before we've had several family members in the force in deployment overseas
Seen the toll it's take on the individual's when trying to fit back in society it's a struggle everyday for you guys
As you now see the world in a different way more reality the the rest of us
Why Anzac day is extremely important so we all can show our respects to you guys and the one who sacrifice everything
Even today my great grand niece and nephews are taught to respect you guys on this day and why
also the boys dad used to be in military and went on deployment as well
One thing is most Aussies teach their kids about anzac day and why even today
    So less we forget
Look after yourself and your mates only you guys really know what your gone through

      @AussieVeteranReacts  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Thank you so much brother for your words and Jon Stevens I didn’t think of him but he’s on the list
I have trouble getting to Defence! I’m not sure about the crowd it’s just in my head I know but I cry for the fallen atleast their war is over, soldiers are soldiers we fight against anyone any day that threatens our country but war isn’t a game and I notice on Anzac Day that all the children and people attending is something special I hope we never lose sight of them fallen and those like me that can survive the struggle but then I think to myself there’s a lot of ppl doing worse than me even after what I’ve lost 😞 it’s how we rise I’m not there yet but this channel has made a massive difference to me and helps me better than any medication
      Thank you 🙏🏻 respect 🫡

It’s very hard to ask ppl for help but I can lead anyone to help themselves with my own experiences and hopefully 🙏 I can help others

I am 74 years old, and when the Vietnam war started we had conscription here in Australia. My number never got pulled out of the barrel, but some of my mates did. Not all went overseas, but those that did, came back a different person than went over. The spraying of Agent Orange by the Yanks, led to all sorts of problems, the sights and mental stress when you didn't know if your next step was going to be your last, all contributed to their hard time re-adjusting. Some managed, some didn't. Hang in there mate.

Dont worry about the negative nelly their just looking for someone to pick on to make themselves feel better otherwise would've enjoyed your reactions because thats what its all about not faking to appease someone
Its good to see you have family in grand kids to help you just remember the pain your dealing with you've saved them from having to and gave them and us a further even if unknown as its always evolving
We lost my dads brother at 50 Vietnam vet been in army all his life age of 17 my dad sign him in as 18 as lost their parents and my dad was the oldest he got back from the wars but between cancer attacks on his bones which he beaten with vertabras replaced then got cancer he blamed it on agent orange chemicals they got sprayed with he layed a claim with the government as usual they rejected it and refused to believe it but he wanted it documented so his kids or future family could when the truth comes out after the time limits that they cannhide it
He told us only about 3 left of his battalion rest died fighting or what made it home all died of unusual cancers why they all lodge on paper with government and veterans affairs for a record
So you and i think the same on that theirs alway someone worse of than ourselves and we must live life for the ones who can't
Keep enjoying the kids and the music and ignore the haters everyone gets them in public fourms it says their in a bad place rite now that all

Seriously the beautiful message and I salute you and your family, I agree not 1 veteran should be on the streets, in fact no one should be on the street there is enough money in this world to pay for accommodation and food and a helping hand to bring that person into the community, Bless you Denise thank you so much💗
