They actually get rid of a lot of stuff that is gone forever unless the cast members kept it, and the set pieces have to be recreated. Some times correctly, and sometimes with mistakes.
TV studios are ready to create anything from the inside of a space ship to a cave with little notice, the inside of an average house is not a challenger for any of the big ones, they can make replicas of anything not readly available.

14:45 "I just thought that Peg thought she was hot." Newsflash: Peg WAS hot. The fact she could hold her own against Al made her that much more awesome.
She didn't hold herself against Al, they were both stubborn as hell. Peg was the most useless person of the family, everybody had a job or did chores in the house except her. The only thing Al asked from her was just basic house chores. Katey Sagal is still hot as fck, though, as she was back then...
I thought David Faustino was highly underrated as bud.....his mannerisms and facial expressions were so comparable to Ed O’Neil that it made being his biological son look so believable
@Xcuze David and Christina had such great roles which is so rare for kids on a family sitcom. They actually grew to be great actors because like you said the talent around them but also because they were allowed to act. The only other kids on sitcoms in their league are the kids from Family Ties,(especially Michael J. Fox) the boys from Malcolm In The Middle, the kids from The Middle and Gary Coleman on Different Strokes.
These was the first TV. Show that I actually saw as a child and I was hooked every since thanks bunches for making my childhood great and wonderful loved these show
The last show of Modern Family should have ended with Peg , Kelly and Bud showing up at Al’s door and yelling “Did you think you could get away that easily “ !
Or it should have been similar to Newhart, Jay (Al) waking up saying you won’t believe the dream that I had, and Katy Sagal wakes up next to him. Would have been cool.

@@JohnDgr81 Are you crazy comparing two shows from completely different eras of television? MwC was a breakthrough sitcom, there was nothing like that on TV at the time. Even The Simpsons were still just a sketch at the Tracey Ullman Show.
I remember watching Married, and Seinfeld during approximately the same time period. Both shows were able to pull off delivering side splitting humor using two entirely different comedic methodologies, and I enjoyed every episode of each one.
MwC was about the real life of a suburban family, Seinfeld was about the life and idiossincracies of a single guy in a big city. I relate to both as well, they were able to deliver the irony of life in both environments. MwC is a little simplier than Seinfeld's writing but Seinfeld wouldn't have existed without MwC's success imho since they both dealt with negative aspects of human behaviour and MwC was the first to do it on TV.
@@redacted2275 If you want to go back to the show that truly broke ground in dealing with the negative, dysfunctional aspects of family life, that would be, "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", which aired over a decade before either MwC, or Seinfeld. SOAP was another sitcom that dealt with extremely risque (at the time) subject matter.
@@MarkRVillano I don't remember much of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman but I wouldn't say it broke ground the same way MWC did as far as the politically incorrect and crude humor, half naked hot babes being exploited for our pleasure and characters so wildly dysfunctional and hilarious. Closest would be All In The Family and even with that Archie and George Jefferson were the only truly dysfunctional and flawed characters.

That's about the same time ``In Living Color`` aired on fox. The Damian brother`s raised the stakes in comedy as well
I love the cast, and it will always remain one of the best sitcoms of all time, God bless Married With Children!!! 😊😊❤❤
They should make a show now with that type of comedy and humor. It'll catch hell but would be funny as hell.
Ed´s physical comedy was no joke, 80% of the time I find myself laughing of his expressions, Al is the man for sure, he kinda reminds me of my dad.
His stressed out expressions are too funny. We all do it. You just dont see that on tv comedies. Its considered too dark. MWC nailed it.
Crazy how much culture changes in such a short time... People can't get away with saying what they think anymore. I never thought I'd say this, but Married With Children really has turned out to be art. Ha!
You're a fucking idiot
I agree. I still watch the re-runs every week. It was funny, still funny, and it don't matter what they say, it don't hurt anyone. Its just pure stupid fun...
@@jonathanmckiddy9169 I guess all you can do is insult him with your 4 word response? Nicely done. Now we know who the f**k** is...
@@CP-fz4sr the first time I saw someone say married with children couldn't exist in today's culture I help fully pointed out that the show was still airing in syndication and the time and station it aired on. The fiftieth time I saw it I realized that the people saying it didn't care and just wanted to fufill their narrative. So pardon if my attitude has become as such, but I am tired of the jabs at PC culture. Most people regardless enjoy the humor even today and will most likely continue to enjoy it with all it's in appropriate nature. But I despise these false narratives that exists to prop up political agendas on both sides.
@@jonathanmckiddy9169 So ho many shows similar to Married with Children exist since then? I can think of one, Unhappily ever After. In current PC Hell times we haven't seen anything remotely close to this. In fact any sign of edgy humor gets you banned from social media and shunned by advertisers.
Your tired at jabs to PC culture, im tired of morons who defend it. It has no place in society with free expression.
who remembers when Marcy showed up with a chicken platter and al said "congratulations marcy,I didn't know you were expecting." 😂😂😂
Marcy: Peg, i was wondering if you could warm my giblets? Al: I thought that was your husband's unfortunate job. Jefferson: No...my job is to stuff the bird...
This show is amazing to this day just because it's rough truth in your face.

What a blast from the past!
My grandfather used to love this show. I used to love watching it with him. We got an absolute kick out of it!!
This family will always be the best TV sitcom ever there will never be one like this or even come close to it thank 4 the laughs
Grew up watching this show. It was the best show I've ever seen.
To everyone involved in making Married with Children., thank you for the laughs. You're all great!
I loved this show, I was mad when it was cancelled. Especially without a final episode! You all deserve a academy award!
I know why it didn’t get one
There is a final episode. The great Chicago shoe exchange
@@garyclarke9557 Well yes the lost episode that aired during Fox's summer sweeps back in 1997 🤗📺📼🕵

I loved this show!! The cast was talented and extremely gifted in the art of humor!! It was my favorite show ever and I had the best times watching every episode!! Timeless!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I know Jefferson is beloved, but Steve did a good job too.
The Steve era was better. Corniness seeped in to the show during the Jefferson era, but the show was still good
2022 and this is still the best show ever.
We need a series like this again DESPERATELY right now!
Can't too many snowflakes would be offended. Lol
This show could never be made today.
1. The amount fat jokes alone in this show would case a uproar.
2. The sexist joke which would cause even more uproar.
3. Then you have they fact they completely sexualize the character Kelly from a very young age. She was still in her teen when they started making sex joke about her.
4. It showcase constant child neglect and made it a running gag.
No way that fly in to days world.
I’m not offended by it personally. Maybe I should be I don’t know. But I know that the topic I listed are very sensitive topics now days.
Honestly I am surprise people haven’t tried to “canceled” the original yet.

A more civilized age.

Yeah I never appreciated the creative freedom shows in in the past had till it was gone.
Im just 34 but i feel like 65 when i see todays shows and movies. Instead of "larger than life" heros like bruce willis and arnold schwarzenegger we have annoying karens like brie larson, or boring mary sues like every woman in every movie these days.

They dont make comedy like this any more. The 80s and 90s rocked, then...
Yeah they do try "Happy" on Netflix if you loved Married with Children you will love this series.

I have watched this before, just ran across it again in 2023 and had to watch again. Loved this show. And that Burger King commercial 2 for 2:22
I'm always amazed that they're able to re-create old show sets so easily, like they just kept everything in storage "just in case."
This show is still shocking to this day! It will offend everyone! Loved it!
There problem but not for us
One of the best shows ever made! Miss these kinds of shows, ones that were not afraid to make you laugh by any means necessary.
I’m from the UK & was watching this in my early 20s, cant say how much i enjoy this serious its a Gold Classic in our saying. The writing was outrageous & all the actors played just right for the part & now with U TUBE i can start watching it all over again 😂😂 thanks for the memories ❤️
I was about 13, my imagination couldn't decide on Peggy or Kelly to help me sleep 😂😂😂😂
14:45 "I just thought that Peg thought she was hot." Newsflash: Peg WAS hot. The fact she could hold her own against Al made her that much more awesome.
kirin-rex she was so hot
Curvy Redheads are always hot...
I agree. David is a great actor.
💯 percent! He made you believe he was Al Bundy's son for real!
The whole cast was great!
Well said, all of you. They grew with each other, because of each other, but also because of themselves. Just lots of talent and chemistry all around.
Did you miss me Al?

The last show of Modern Family should have ended with Peg , Kelly and Bud showing up at Al’s door and yelling “Did you think you could get away that easily “ !
That would have been a great ending for MF!....and also a great set up for a MWC come back!...
JD81 , you should hear my ending for Everybody Loves Raymond it would have broken records !

Married With Children is a classic 🥰💯 A personal favorite of mines
Absolutely brilliant!! I live in England and we loved this, it was on every Friday about 7-30 and all our family wud sit around the telly laughing our heads off. My dad idolised Ed whereas my brother and I obviously adored the daughter she was beautiful. Such a brilliant idea turned into a mammoth show, long live in the memory The Bundys!!
When was it on at 7.30? I am only old enough to remember the final season or two being on late night ITV about 1am on a Tuesday I think.
@@revengenerd1 what u mean when? This show was on primetime
@@revengenerd1 Sky 1 showed it well earlier, around half 6 or so, presumably heavily edited because they would have been too scared to show it uncut.
Also popular in Ireland as well.

Amazing that Ed O’Neil was able to find similar success with modern family. It also lasted for 11 years.
But MF was never nearly as funny as MWC. It was good the first couple of seasons but fell off quickly.
Sophia Vergara made the show a hit!....and I still think Christina Applegate got the ratings for MWC!...lets face it!...sexy, hot women= ratings!....simple as that!
@@JohnDgr81 Are you crazy comparing two shows from completely different eras of television? MwC was a breakthrough sitcom, there was nothing like that on TV at the time. Even The Simpsons were still just a sketch at the Tracey Ullman Show.
This show is a timeless classic. Im so glad to have been alive to see these when they were new. And loved every minute of it.
This is one of the best from beginning to end I miss it wish they'd bring it back
THUMBS UP for leaving those commercials in! 👍👍👍
Nostalgia gold right there!
That show was more dramatic in nature, we're talking pure comedy and how no other family sitcom in history dare went where MWC went. Closest would be All In The Family and even with that Archie and George Jefferson were the only truly dysfunctional and flawed characters.
I just got finished watching all 11 seasons and I still can't get enough of the Bundys. 11 seasons wasn't enough. The greatest TV show of all time and in a perfect time.
Married with children and Martin...were literally the two funniest shows to ever exist on television....nothing like them before or after...they made the nineties one of the best eras in history.
Two shows I grew up on and adore to this day! Nothing comes close to those two or Sanford and Son, Golden Girls, Frasier etc.
Wow Ed O'Neil did 22 great seasons, 11 Married with Children and 11 with Modern Family both great shows
