In English we say "Distant relatives" - not far relatives. I like your channel, your explanations are clear and to the point. Thankyou
Thanks Ian, I checked it afterwards and ... shame on me :D
@@Alfia No its not a shame on you - i was just being helpful to you, as your videos are helpful to your followers.
I am learning Russian - i can read and understand quite well, your lessons help to clarify and expand things i already know. A video on telling the time would be nice (please?)
@@ianlayton6845 thank you so much, for sure we're all lifelong learners. I'm already making a video on telling the time, I guess it will come out in a couple of weeks. U
спасибо!!

Классно
Good Channel more videos please teacher.
Thank you so much Luis, your words are encouraging me!
When using masculine Short form adjectives (ending in two consonants) how do we know when to use е vs ё? E.g. Он доволен... vs Он Умён...
Very helpful videos btw, thanks!
With many thanks, it was grate your video but only the end of that was two quick and I did not understand your examples.
I remember a very slang English word "guppy" meaning silly. Haven't heard in years but people used to say 50 years ago "He's guppy" meaning he's stupid. I wodner if the word came from Russian?? Anyway, its a useful way for me to remember глу́пый
Ахаххаа я думаю, гуппи - это маленькая аквариумная рыбка, и мы тоже говорим: "интеллект, как у рыбки" 😄🐠
Distant relative :-) NOT far 😊
Mam in how much time I can learn Russian language
Hi Naresh, It depends on what you consider to learn the language. 5-6 months of active practice together with learning and understanding grammar is usually enough to get some basic level and be able to communicate in some simple situations: shopping, meeting new people, asking questions, understanding not fast Russian speech. In 18 months of learning (3-4 hours of practice a week + homework) most learners are quite confident in tenses, genders and conjugations and the vocabulary already covers most used everyday topics.
I hope I answered your question briefly. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
@@Alfia Mam I am very excited to learn Russian language
@@nareshsihag07 You'll definitely succeed, it's very interesting to learn a completely different language. If you need some coursebooks, leave your email, I'll send it there
XARAWO
One question, please. How can I tell when to use HOROSHO and when DOBRO?? Bit confusing to me.
That's quite easy. Хорошо is good or well.
Как дела? - хорошо.
Он работает очень хорошо.
Он учится хорошо.
Добро - is a noun goodness.
Нужно делать добро людям, и оно (добро) вернётся к вам.
@@Alfia Cпасибо любезно!!
