Problems with this board 1. Dude who won’t shut up. 2. Fear of a city and devs over Resource potential. 3. Failing to acknowledge real strength. By 44:00. Blue has 6 unique numbers. Black has 7. Meaning each roll their potential for a win increases. Blue is at 8 Do not understand fear of dev. Scariest is already revealed. Army Dylan’s is easily trapped this board
Think your analysis was nearly perfect for the quiz. But gotta 3 for 1 twice for 2 wood and 3 brick if tracking perfectly so red can clean road. Otherwise 6 brick for red is still only 2 roads unless he rolls into wood
Didn’t he had a non block deal with red at around minute 20:00? Which he forgot about and then got blocked and stolen from? Awesome quiz! And those 9s going crazy secured blue the game 🙈
Mario is insufferable. Even when he isn’t stolen from, he’s complaining. It’s apart of the game. Choose a different position if you don’t like sharing tiles with blue.
At the pro level, you gotta moan that you are the weakest player at all time and are being treated unfairly. Unfortunately catan is not a strategy game but more of a deception/luck type of game. You are constantly asking yourself “how can I convince my opponents that I am weak and the other players are ahead”. At the low elo levels, if you settle poorly, they don’t care lol. You will lose cause no one communicates. At the pro levels, a bad settle can lead into a win.
49:19 I haven’t played the video from here but my move would of been build the city and then pop a dev since there’s been so many knights used it’s likely a VP will be pulled.
@ True, but when you got a minute to think of what you want to do, it’s pretty much full send. The average player isn’t thinking of let me give road to red especially when they have been pretty much accusing you of being ahead all game long. Then again, I am a gambling addict.
I saw that move right away, but it was definitely hard to comunicate and do in the moment, with the pressure to. I woulda have done one dev and 2 wood and 6 brick which woulda been worse than the best play
I think the best move is to pop a dev first instead of the city, porting 6 brick. If you pull the vp you win, and if not you do exactly as you said with the 7f1 trade, though it doesn’t set you up as nicely as city would to close the game. But I think in that scenario you should always try your luck.
I was leaning this way as well, with the vp ratio being better than normal, the 6 being blocked, and there being a non-zero chance something happens where red doesn’t accept a trade to take road (albeit lower in a game with voice chat)
Dilan is the Guy that made me play Catan at the level i'm doing now, constant top 10 National on ranked 30-37% wr every season TY DILAN!!!
I love playing with Mario. Hilarious, no clue what he is saying half the time.

Not likely. 8 knights been played so 6 in deck, 3 VPs, 2 YOPs, 2 Roadbuilders. So 23% chance of getting a VP.

dylan big improvement on the audio in this vid
Thank you for the vid!
Personally, I would’ve popped twice and prayed for 2 VP’s
I hope if the first pop was a VP you would figure out to city for the win instead of pulling a second time...
lol terrible move
9:10 knight & 7 it gotta love when that happens lmfaoo
W brick mono

Discord barely audible, please check those levels next time. Specially in such a verbal table like this, i felt i missed half the story.
why are u holding for 2 cycles just port and get a wood
Bro I get an ad every 10 seconds wtf 😂😂
20:50 red owed you a non blocl here. Blcked and stole from ya anyway
Spotted that as well and shouted at my screen 😅
Spoiler blocker!
I think blue made a huge mistake not starting on the 4/9/2 and pointing up. He gets the 6/2 uncontested and the 10 ore uncontested
Maybe not so bad since he won.
that end game...

Red is such a donk.
