Loved that, and thankfully I can hear it now - have a bad cold and woke this morning with my left ear relaying a tinny, out of tune echo, all music sounded flat. 😁 Happy Holidays ❤
@@A.L.Gardner You know you’re good and sick when your ears start acting up! I’ve just gotten back to normal after 1 month of no breathing through my nose, wishing you a much more speedy recovery!! ❤️
That clean Am chord you did is one I do a lot. I'm not sure it's an Am but it sounds like one if I remember correctly lol. Played like a reverse power chord up the neck. I've been exploring different progressions with it. Anyway this is killer Jim!!!!!!! You have tone and feel for miles brother.
Hi Robert! The first chord is an inversion of the A major chord. It borrows a note from the B major, the D#. The way we count that out is by skipping notes, A, C, E, G, B, D. So an A chord with a D note is an 11th inversion. 11th inversion chords have a beautiful mysterious sound. And since they have the borrowed note from the B, the song roots on B, making it a song which uses the 3 Major chords of E Major, but roots on the B. Whenever you root on a different chord, it’s considered a different ‘mode’. 1. Ionian 2. Dorian 3. Phrygian 4. Lydian 5. Mixolydian 6. Aeolian 7. Locrian Since we are rooting on the 5th chord, B it’s considered Mixolydian. But I wanted to smash it up, so the song switches keys to F# minor and then back again. It threw me off when I was doing leads because the scales are different. I used two scales, E Major and F# minor. When I go through so many pieces of music, I do a lot of random uploads, I’m actually trying my best to keep listeners engaged and entertained. Because it is easy to repeat yourself. I do it ALL THE TIME. 😂 No matter what scales or keys you’re playing, just use your ear to find things you like, and then there’s a way to determine the key/mode/scale later. If you ever want to share music, email me!! We LOVE your music Robert. You are a natural. Hope there’s lots of LOVE in your life, my best to you and your family this holiday season!! ☮️❤️😊
