Lassie - Episode

Lassie and Timmy find a hurt Army messenger pigeon and nurse it back to health before returning it to the nearby Army base. However, the pigeon and Lassie have become best friends, so the pigeon keeps returning back to the Martin's farm.
TRIVIA: According to lassieweb.org, this episode has both Spook and Baby playing the part of Lassie in various scenes, and once in the same scene! The pigeon sitting on Lassie's back must have been a director's favorite because this is the second episode where a bird has perched on Lassie's back while the collie is moving.
