Thank you Ghib san for your content. I used to work for the Japanese in the 90s and the cultural enjoyment today wouldn't have been thinkable years ago. The Japanese enjoyment of SEA cuisine and Singaporean love of Japanese culture and food was not so perceptible back then. Thanks for making it happen. Keep it up.
It is very interesting to see both your perspectives and the comparisons between being in Japan and Singapore, I do believe Tokyo is just on another level - even when compared to other big cities in Japan, so there's that. Thank you for the video!
there are certainly pros and cons to each i do prefer japan though, cars and bikes are cheaper so you can live on the outskirts and commute in (houses on the outskirts of tokyo are cheaper too compared to city center) not to mention you can always move to a different prefecture, meanwhile in singapore, your only option of retiring is to move to a different country entirely
Yup its a good place if you love noodles! The service is also really fast and the prices are reasonable for its central location. They have calpis on the menu too!
I remember her pretty well. You two went to Omote at Thomson Plaza in the first video. It's so assuring to hear that she feels comfortable living here.
Ghib, tried your recommendations plus more. Loved everything! Will definitely be back. Thank you for the recco. Now I have another place to add to my list
I’m have the opposite opinion as Yuri san on the topic of dressing… I love how Japanese are polite and graceful… polite enough to dress properly. … dress for the right occasion. Light natural makeup. It’s a respect not to others but also to oneself. Bowing n covering your mouth culture. Even the language is very polite too . Hardly any fat ppl shows how they respect their body and take care of their health. Of cos they have their extreme groups but it is good they are differentiated.
You might have misunderstood her. She said it's stressful to have to do that herself constantly. I cannot imagine having to be prim and proper all the time, will be so tiring
You're a good man Ojib san..🙇♂️🙇♀️ with care from an Indian...have loved all Japanese food flavours i think..❤ with love and care from an Indian brother🇯🇵🙇♂️🇮🇳🙏🎁🎋⛩💝🙇♂️
Never tried Umai before, wonder is it comparable to "Shin Udon" in Tokyo, the texture is uhmmm… and they make the udon from scratch on the spot, with the flour dough and straight to the boiling water to cook the udon , their tempura pork is a must tried for me ❤
This place is pretty. Food looks very nice too. But for a noodle fix we prefer the okinawa food in great world. Especially their cold noodle. We find umai their food too uma. Flavors too strong.
It does really look good but for those who had been to Japan, you should already know that singapore standard is way less then half of the actual experience. So far not even the best Udon in Singapore came even close to any ordinary shop I went to in Tokyo. And I am not even comparing to the best Udon in Tokyo which can easily out rate Singapore udon to only 1 out of 10.
Nice to see Yuri again. Her outfit is very gorgeous, so well dressed 😀 The carbonara udon looks so good… will check it out this weekend!

To Tokyo ppl, Singapore is more relax lifestyle, but to like Australia i think Singapore looks so hectic and stressful.
Welcome Back. Ah so lovely video

Checking it out later for lunch .
I wish know this restaurant when I was in Singapore in November.
so after eating here we dont need to go Japan to eat Udon anymore :O Curious to know if the standard in Japan is similar or much better?

That wide udon reminds me of Kway Tiao or Kway Chap.. lol

Wow another video of going to a restaurant with a Japanese person and asking them about life in Singapore huh
Slurp All you want.. haha

ゆりさん、ご飯好きですか。らーめんは?オムライスは?僕は?
😂udon noodles in Australia are in the round and super fat style.
Hi Ghib n Yuri san,, うどん 大好き,ぜひ 行きたい ね,美味しいそ 🥘👍🍺😬
東京はそんなに悪い場所じゃありません…いろいろな人が集まってるからだと思います。東京出身からすると悲しいです。
How come all the staff in this restaurant, including the head chef himself are not wearing masks??
Because they want to show their pretty faces mah
Anesthesiologist は医者です。。。
まさかのカレーうどん無し
🤣🤣🤣
Chopsticks is wrong. Not Japanese はし。
Pardon me. She looks umai. 😂
