My Dad is so supportive of my Mum's crafting and gives his input all the time. Now he can get involved too. He loves birds and always makes sure there is food set out for them, especially during the winter. Can't wait to see what creations he comes up with. Thank you so much for sharing

This was fun for a "change".
I mean, not a paper craft project, but instead this great shared diy birdseed ornaments.
    Loved it

Wow, thank you so much! I wanted to put ornaments out on a tree on my walk in memory of my parents who passed away this past year due to Covid, but didn’t want to to put anything out that may harm wildlife. This is it! What a great idea. Will be making this week and hanging in the new year. I’ll try and post a picture. Thanks again for a wonderful idea.

Such a clever idea. I'm going to make these with my grandchildren. Thanks, I'm always looking for fun projects we can do over the holiday break from school.

I’ve often wondered what the seed ornaments and cakes were held together with, thank you for sharing! I’ve noticed a lot of little winter birds in our yard this winter, these will be lots of fun to make and hang with the grands!

If I were to make these to sell, do you know what the shelf life is? Can they be sent through the mail if packaged so they don't bump around? Thank you

Shelf life would completely depend on the birdseed and materials used. If packaged properly, yes these can be sent through the mail.
Hope this helps and have a wonderful day!

I made these bird seed ornaments. Looked like a fun project, but no birds ate any. Gave some to my Mom where she has lots of birds, and they didn’t eat them either. Maybe they don’t like the gelatine. Not sure.
