Sgt Winterbottom and his squad have recentley settled in the bombed town of ramelle. However the germans are not willing to let the town in American hands much longer.
We ALL came across this video at one point in our childhood. This was long before I ever watched Saving Private Ryan for the first time....good memories man. And the animations are actually pretty sick
Nick Tasy Never realized that the audio came from Saving Private Ryan, I must’ve been like 8-9 years old watching this and that was a few years after it came out.
Lol it made me create my own stop motion stuff but it was never as good as this
Yea I was like 8-9 going through my LEGO faze and didn’t realize until watching private ryan like 1-2 years as of me commenting this that the Audi came from private Ryan
I'm back 11 years later and think of this every day 😂
Wow this brings me back
Please rise and pay respect for the most nostalgic ww2 animation.
Indeed.
God job
the most nostalgic ever.
I see you everywhere
tbh I think JSLegoMaster's battle of Hurtgen was more nostalgic, even if it has since been taken down.
Hey everybody. I want to inform you about whats going on now.
Im happy to see that my movies are still watched and appriciated - and that people who watched them years ago still watch it. I am 26 years old now, i am married and my second child will come any day now, so i will probaly not make any new movies for the next years. Besides, as most swiss men - i do my military service (mechanised infantry) so I think Sgt. Winterbottom is satisfied, even though my rank (solider) is not as high as his ...
So i want to say that you to all loyal watchers and i am proud and glad that i have inspired a lot of people to make Brickfilms. Its crazy - this movie is soon 10 years old and will also have 10 million views =O
JSLegoMaster you’re a legend for all your movies.
I thank you for making these videos you have truly shaped my childhood
Much love brother
Thank you for all the memories, it’s because of you I am into World War Two.
Good luck to you, mate. You're a legend of lego war stop motions
i watched this as a kids and really enjoyed it, i came back to look back at memory lane, and i just realized i watched lego saving privet Ryan xD
It was almost exactly the same for me
Injust noticed that after watching it today
I saw it when i was like 8.
John White same
John White same here I watched this without my parents noticing some how when I was like 6
My new hobby is watching old videos... I mean old GREAT videos like this for nostalgia...

Nice to hear from you again! Glad to see things are going great for you.
Miss you bro, glad to hear life is going good though for you :)
Nice update after all those years
wish the best for you i remember your channel 9 years ago man how time passes by wish you luck in your service
Hey what if in some future, when you retire or something, would u go back to your channel, and maybe make Story of Sgt. Winterbottom 4 and a lot of other things, if u can tho.
Coming back to this around a decade or more later, still as good as the first time!
Coming back to this years and years later still amazed this is exactly what I was into as a kid, JS legomaster always had awesome videos I even made my own account after him, DS legomaster haha and made some videos, crazy work man wonder if he’s locked out of the account
Jesus, the nostalgia from watching this. This brings me back to the good ol' days.
Thus used to be my favorite back then, recently I've just been going on a little nostalgic trip and boy oh boy does this take me back
why did you stop making movies?!?!?! they are really good
he quit
yup, he just got bored of it I guess
wrong, as i explained many times, I am adult now, 21 years old. Got a real job and not much free time. Maybe you will understand that when your older to
JSLegoMaster ok I get it, just saying you were really good
JSLegoMaster OMG HI IM A BIG FAN! (btw im happy your are enjoying yourself and branching out)
Greatest video of are childhood
Ramelle? That's a fictional town in Saving Private Ryan
Yep. And this animation is meant to parody it.
Ballpark Burgers not a parody a remade version in lego
No it's real
@@tinaklinksiek2611 no it's not. Search it up, dude.
Sadly
I used to watch this when I was 13 years old I’m currently 19 man and all I can say is thank you for making these videos I for making my childhood one of a kind.
You were my favorite lego war animator when I was 9! I am 13 now, sad to see that your gone.
Same :/
GamingWithJacob342 same but IM 14 lol
GamingWithJacob342 same but now I'm 16 lol
yeah this gave me inspiration for making animations as well when I watched this for the first time, I was seven when I started and I am continuing to perfect them today
Me too
Long before TH-cams copyright bullshit...
"Your mother wouldn't be proud if she seen you do that"
"I thought you were my mother" xD
MajesticBacon_ no it’s. If your mother saw you do that she’d be very upset
Had to go back to this after 5 years
I remember that this was one of the first videos I saw of Lego WW2 when I was a kid, a lot of nostalgia here
Same here I loved this
I just realized that the scene where the machinegun started firing was actually a first person view. All this time, especially since I started watching this about a few days after this was uploaded, I thought the guy holding the ammo belt was the guy firing...
What a fuckin legendary video bruh
Holy shit
Damn you're right, never noticed it before
Wow same I never noticed either
THIS WAS THE COOLEST MOVIE IN THE WORLD I WISH I WAS U
Wow! I was half my age when I first watched this video (aged 24 now), I remember watching it as soon as it was released. I spent so much money on Brickarms gear and I spent ages trying to find the minifigure head of the main character. What a masterpiece creation, watching some of the latest stop motion videos they are much more impressive from a technical aspect but just seem too animated compared these older ones which I much prefer.
Im reading pretty much every comment =)
They are the old ww2 ones, sold like 3 years ago but i got tons of them and i see no reason to replace em, they still look good
Anybody else love how the guy is aggressive and took out three guys on his own by close combat?
Much better than Saving Ryan's Privates!
This is the film that should have won the awards!
an old classic that never goes stale
thank you for being awesome brooda
Nostalgia hitting me I remember watching this as a kid good times
Woah, that is an awesome film same w/ battle of Hürtgen!
2018 anyone?
DarthFargus Productions dude twenty ninety for me boi
yep
2020 babe!
@@Thomas-br3ik hell yeah
One of my favorite lego war videos as a kid. Still is. Thanks for the awesome video and memories.
Nostalgia watched this in 2011
Been watching this since I was 10…..22 now and still coming back 🤌🏻
This is a scene from the movie, "Saving Private Ryan" with Tom Hanks. If you wanna watch it, it's a great movie. This is a picture perfect rendition of the film.
Dillon Rondo Well with audio of Band of Brothers as well
this guywas the best youtuber I love his videos when I was 5
THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD
Damn... this is too nostalgic, I remember seeing this in my childhood
First watch this when I was 9 man 😫
Saving private ryan ???
Yep
by the way. I also do stop motions but I cant do that good
Im really impressed by this film and hope I can make something like it one day! Good job!
Wtf!?!? These soundeffects are from the movie 'Saving privaye hank'.
Saving private Ryan
Whatever
Dogan Turgut This is also a scene from that movie...Genuis
braedon richardson you mean genius.lol
Dogan Turgut and band or brothers
This will still bring me joy to watch every time
me too
Tom Hanks voice?
Yea i think he is using voice clips from saving privet ryan
He is he is even using voice over's from Band of Brothers which isn't cool thinking that this video is taken from the ending of saving private ryan.
Sean Sullivan das ist genau die Schlacht von der Soldat James Ryan
Mhm
Sean Sullivan Nope, Band of Brothers
idk if he is selling figures butttt look on ebay and buy ww2 troops like the ones that u saw
You should do d day
He stopped making videos.
@@peterson7082 rip
21 million, not 10 million german solider served in the Wehrmacht in ww2. If you google Mp40 you will find all kinds of troops having that weapon, including SS personel. Well this unit might just have been lucky to find many mp40 from dead comaerades or dead enemies who in exachange took it form other deads =P
I miss Jonathan Schneider and his animations, he was my childhood
fucking "A"! the sound effects are EPIC! great job on the video.
Man that first kill was just brutal. Close range to the face from an MG
Watched this a long time ago and it's still one of the best brickfilms iv'e ever seen.
WOW That looks like Saving Private Ryan!
I saw this way back in 5th grade, a good few weeks after it was dropped. I didn't watch Saving Private Ryan until 2021 and realized the soundbites were pulled from there.
I cant even count how many times I watched this as a 10 year old. At least once a day for months. It's just as good as I remember
Omg I just realized that he left his Thompson when he put the other guy on the motorcycle 2:46 but then he got it back when he killed the german about to kill the other guy
Amazing.. just amazing. But idk it just seems kinda unrealistic that no soldier from America died. .
Who else is still thinking how the hell didn’t they see them
Fun fact around 22 American soldiers only 3 survived in this battle like at the end of the video
First off, great video.
But you know what kind of sucks?
The are no, literally, _no_ modern warfare Lego stop-motions that are, you know, decent.
They're all either:
- Call of duty based, Battlefield based, etc.
- Made with CGI
- Have awful cameras
- Have bad editing
- Have just plain bad animation
- Have a coherent story
- Or have bad models
Thumbs up if you agree
Now, better to light a match than curse the darkness, so.
I'm gonna make one.
Again, great video. It holds a very nostalgic spot in my mind
The memories, unreal
The closest we got to 'Saving Private' Ryan squad and 'Band Of Brothers' boys crossover.
peak of humanity is when this video came out.
childhood classic. probably watched this first when i was 7 years old, theoretically earlier. 18 now
THIS WAS AMAZING all your missing is a smoother animation but I still love it😀
Has anyone come back to watch this
I'm feeling a Nostalgia watching this in my Childhood. (Good Memories:) )
I was searching everywhere for this! I watched it when I was younger but the recommendations blessed me.
I remember watching this like 4 years ago
LOL 3:34
Soldier 1: "if your mom saw you do that she'd be VERY upset."
Solider 2: "I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY MOTHER"
XD
How it should have ended: Saving Private Ryan...
Childhood nostalgia intensifies
The original audio used and inspired is from saving private ryan
mellish didn't die miller didn't die and he did not shot the germans through the wall so yes i will like but i would like to see a better one.
God this is a classic
Make more stop motion video this is old please make more video
This was just as hype as the actual movie scene lol
2:39 of course he's not alright he just got shot with a bolt action rifle!
8 years later and found this nostalgic piece that made my childhood :)
good job!
Still one of my all time favorites on TH-cam. Memories of coming home from school and watching this.
The memories. I used to watch this a lot when I was a kid.
I thought the video was going to be bad but it not that bad
I loved this stopmotion with all my heart
nice helmets do you know where you got them?
Haha I see my comment from 12 years ago lol
Realism - this is a Brickfilm to start off dont forget that.....
Well if you are given a order to attack that machinegun you do it - and they did, secondly they search cover here after they were suprised.
How stupid do you need to be to judge all allied soliders in ww2? Do some research about certain battles of the normandy campaign where they were surrounded but still fought on. For example the 30rd US division in the battle of mortain or the poles in the battle of hill 262.
Well only 43.9% of the german peopel chose NSDAP in the Reichstag elections 1933 so not even the half of the germans supported hitler. But of course in the NS state you better did support him, or your life and that of your family was in danger.
AWESOME!!! Really liked this one! Never seen a LEGO WWII Stopmotion featuring the 82nd! Liked the sound effects from Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers!Well done; 10/10 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was heavliy inspired by it and the set aswell as the plot is to. But then again it is not a copy - a copy would be if i would make 1-1 same scenes and plot which i havent also this is lego and spr is a real movie
At least this version didn’t have Melish die!
"I thought you were my mother" LOLZ XD
Well lego with minifigs is funny cuz the dont die but the real ww2 was the bloodiest conflict the world has ever seen so your teacher is a idiot.
my childhood, good times on here
This movie is Saving Private Ryan
Man I watched this and so many other brick films back in the day. It always inspired me to build and create things myself! You truly don’t realize how innocent things are during your childhood.
Even though it is low fps it has its own unique style and in this video I got so much information in such a short time it really is amazing!
My gawd 10 years old and still cool
Damn that's so fucking nostalgic
Digging up this nostalgic piece during the pandemic really brings me back to my childhood!
These were some of the first videos I ever watched on TH-cam, together with star wars stop motions. These childhood memories man its incredible, thank u very much hope u are still ok out there! :,)
Se isso Tivese filme os americanos teliha vencido
