I genuinely really like this ship and some people do need to understand that in some articles it’s stated that Wei ying was not adopted by the Jiangs and there is no blood relation between the family so technically, it is okay to ship these two!
Great video! But why are all the lan's clothes bluish purple? Shouldn't it be white and sky blue

Hmm, I don't mean to sound rude but how do you ship Sizhui and Jin Ling? I understand that it is 'your' alternative universe but.. Lan Sizhui is the adopted son of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. And Jin Ling, he is the nephew of Wei Wuxian. AND Lan Wangji (cuz they're basically married). So, in short. Are they not cousins? And it's not even distant cousins.
it's okay, I'll explain, it's just that A-Yuan is from wen and because he has no blood relationship because he is adopted, just like wei wuxian does not share genes with cheng or jin ling, I think there is nothing wrong with it since they are from other sects and have different blood or family, it may be a good relationship, but this is just my opinion.
@charlie.C_afton Yup! But he is still adopted. And basically their son, hehe. There are very rude people, especially out of youtube. People call things like this incest (this is not illegal. Marrying one's adoptive sibling also isn't. I just find it very weird because China is very strict when it comes to these topics.) But I do find the sense that you're trying to imply. Please be considerate about the publics' opinion in the future, and I really hope you know how to take criticism and not be offended, hehe.. I honestly ship Lan Jingyi and Jin Ling more, but I respect your opinion or alternative universe. When you watch the donghua, nothing much really happens with Sizhui and Jinling, but there are alot that happens in the live action (the untamed) its just that the untamed has so many twists and plot changes, though in the untamed there is really nothing to see.. I did not sense this so-called 'love' in the air (other than pure respect to each other as both prosperous young masters in well-known sects). While in the donghua, Jingyi and Jinling clearly did not get along, which makes up for the enemies to lovers trope.
Thank you for your constructive criticism (don't worry, I know how to tell the difference :)) and of course I will keep public opinion in mind. maybe there is not so much zhuling in dougha or manhua but when I read the novella there was one moment that was really very cute. I mean the moment when A-Yuan sees the ghost general and jin ling says "ghost? where?! I'll kill him for you!" and I know it's just politeness and all that, but I also made this video because there aren't many reactions to this ship. as for jingyi and A-ing, in my opinion they have quite a similar temperament, which results in quarreling and not getting along, but maybe it would change a bit in a relationship? I don't know, but HEY! it's not a bad ship! Although some people add Jingyi to our fav family, which (isn't it?) strange. But back to sizhui and jin ling, they are very reminiscent of yanli and zixuan, one is calm and the other has a temperament. But thank you again for your opinion, I think it will be useful ^^
@@itzrozkar I don't think public opinion cares as this is a very popular ship in the fandom. And I guess in the technical sense you could call them cousins (non-biological), but they truly do not have that relationship in canon. If WWX had lived and raised Lan Sizhui then they probably would have grown up knowing each other, but in canon they did not at all know each other until the start of the series.
@@fandomtrash7505 Yes, yes. I heard these 'not blood-related' things before. And as I said in my previous reply, it really is not illegal, since even adoptive siblings could get married to each other.
I appreciate how you are defending this ship, but the problem is that I'm not trying to offend TvT.. I do hope that in the future, you give thoughts to what you say and not to comment rashly, because how do we know that the public does not care? Especially public opinion, because you said "I don'y think", and that is only "your" opinion, not the publics'. I actually commented because I care (in a goodway, genuinely was only asking). And although this is a very popular ship in the fandom (infact when I first hopped in, I 'actually' also came to the point of shipping them, 'till I gave it a thought and studied ancient China), we absolutely would care and love to know more! I actually asked just to clarify how the alternative universe works. We'd all love a considerate person, and I do hope there is no beef between the two of us. Have a very nice day!
