I was so disappointed by Longlegs, then I just saw this and it blew me away, restored my faith in modern horror. Scary, brilliant, and tied together beautifully. The ending was amazing.
I watched both and this was OKAY 5/10 …..but long legs was better than expected it kept me on my toes PLUS the ending was wayyyyy better then oddity , I felt like they rushed the end of oddity a little
Yeah, get rid of all the creepy knick-knacks and get better lighting. Some lovely wall sconces and a few floor lamps would make the space so much more warm & inviting.
This trailer had almost everything a horror movie trailer needs.. the ominous ‘Ooh.. Aah.. Ooh..’ all 10 seconds.. actors walking around with faces like they are trying to solve the Riemann hypothesis and that strident scream when somebody turns and looks back.. the only thing was missing is a violently shredded fiddle in the background but I think Netflix calls dibs on that..
If it’s from the same director as caveat, I hope it’s better than caveat. That movie did not live up to the hype. I thought it was horrible. This actually looks good. I’m definitely going to watch it.
The unspeakable truth.... Horror movies only happens to stupid people....if they are smart they win in 5 minutes. And there will be no horror movies, just horror shorts.
Saw this today, and it's quite good. Several great jump scares that had my whole row in the theater hopping out of our seats. Really funny ending, too!
Is there a connection between Oddity and Caveat? Caveat is one of my all time favorite Horror movies, and Oddity was amazing as well, it was jaw dropping to see the bunny make a brief appearance!

What a trailer, it really entices you into watching the actual thing...
That blonde woman’s character seems like the character who could have an expansive series, based off of this trailer. Similar to the woman from the conjuring.
There are so many scary movies out now. Can we get some dramas and love films. Update: I went to see this on 7/23/2024 this was a really good movie. The directing and acting was top tier. My husband even jumped..lol If he says a movie was scary it's scary. I'm surprised it's not in more theaters

Oddity is “Citizen Kane” compared to LongLegs.
