Learn how to draw out a tattoo design of a Native American Girl in the Old School Tattoo Style. Done on paper with pencil, pen and markers making it super easy to follow along with.
I've got about 14 years experience tattooing and tattoo many different tattoo designs in different styles from Old School Traditional, Neo Traditional, Japanese, New School and Realistic. Drawing a tattoo design in a different style requires very different appoaches but lucky enough i break these down into easy to follow guides showing you how to draw old school, how to draw neo traditional/japanese etc is very simple steps and understanding how you did it and what makes them look that way.
I have hundreds of tattoo drawing tutorials covering as much as i can and i do take request, so if there is somethinf you are struggling with or want to have a better understanding of just let me know. the broken puppet is here to help.

Love love LOVE that you're doing trad drawing again, instead of a tablet. Makes it much easier for me to follow along for some reason
You welcome and no worries got a lot more planned for trad versions
@@thebrokenpuppet awesome! Can't wait to see em
Amazing that you went back to drawing with pencils, thank you very much
No prob been awhile and was missing doing them traditionally so I'll start doing a mix of both trad and digital
@@thebrokenpuppet thank you boss
This one was so much fun and so satisfying to execute, I’m learning so much from these tutorials, keep it up man!
Definitely like the traditional pen and paper over the iPad stuff myself especially the full breakdown of the anatomy really helps me as I'm self taught and I really struggle with the basics even tho my drawing isnt to bad I never know where to start I think that's what holds me back from my dream job
Cheers, I'll keep them coming. Anything in particular you would like to learn just let me know and I'll see what I can do
@@thebrokenpuppet maybe like a oldschool horse and lucky shoe, or maybe like Japanese style lady would be pretty cool thanks again
Old man I don't know how to thank you because I really drew horrible but watching your videos, practicing daily and a lot of patience I have improved a lot. You are an excellent mentor, thank you very much.
That's great! glad I've been able to help out!

sir back to the beginning paper and pencils and markers but with more room lighting the ipad kills the craft but is very comfortable the truth is a beautiful piece of myrhwan well cared for 😀😀💪💪
Cheers! Haha always look after my tattoos that one is about 7 years old!
great video!! what kind of needles do you use to tattoo this style of faces? thanks u
What kind of markers did you use in this video?
No prob I use a sharpie for the outline then Windsor and Newton brush markers for the shading and colouring. Great pens and pretty cheap to buy
Do you typically draw this design a few times prior to posting a video? Lovely design.
Na I just draw from the go, I've been tattooing for 13+ years so drawn these countless times before so pretty easy to make them up on the spot
I’ve added this piece to my tattoo apprentice portfolio (got the apprenticeship btw!). I then posted a video on TikTok and people were sooooo rude in the comments I had to delete most of them. They were offended about giving a female a headdress and said it was an insult to Native American culture.... But let me tell you, I’m native and Art is Art! ✨
Yeah fuck them, who's to say a woman can't be chief?
Can you do zombie like creatures? Undead
was loving using your channel as a resource, but it would be cool to see you rework this design to not include indigenous cultural stereotypes or regalia! some indigenous people can be fine with this design but that's not a "pass" and not all are, and if the artist isn't or the person getting the tattoo isn't indigenous, it's appropriation of the indigenous practice of tattooing as well as their resemblance. it's okay to make a mistake like falling into outdated concepts of "early" (relative compared to other cultures) tattooing as long as you're willing to correct yourself and move forward in a more respectful ways
