Bob Iger and his merry band of greedy friends will keep on destroying everything until they are all forced out of Disney! Monsters inc can go in the animation courtyard or the empty starwars hotel. But Disney won’t listen to me
MuppetVision 3D just needed some updates. A wider variety of shows that cycle through, or seasonal shows that only play around holidays. The original TV show had guest appearances. Integrate characters or actors from upcoming Disney movies for some cross-promotion.
I said this in the last vid on this subject. Disney is destroying all the "Olds". Look it up in Chinese communist history. I would expect all of the old Disney attractions to get the axe, eventually. The malls died because the middle class in the US has been slowly squeezed out. That started back in the late eighties, it was so slow nobody noticed.
I despise current day Disney, and the decision makers responsible, for their ineptitude and mishandling of everything they've acquired... Jim Henson was such a massive talent that he should be so much more respected than he is. The Muppets and Sesame Street while under Disney haven't been treated in the high regard they deserve.
I think the comment about not respecting the legacy of Walt, much less Jim Henson, is the most damning. DEI-sney is doing everything it can to destroy the legacy of its cornerstones. I can’t believe that Hall of Presidents and Great Moments with Mr Lincoln haven’t been replaced yet.

Limit copyright to 20 years for corporations, lifetime of the creator, and make it illegal to change these originals and allow true fair use without constant copyright claims!
I was a kid with my younger brother and my parents at a hotel the morning of the day we were going into Disneyland when we heard the news that Jim Henson had passed away. This is like getting that news all over again.
Outside the Muppet Show, his other work still holds a special place in my heart. Dark Crystal and Labyrinth absolutely blew my mind as a kid. He really is a legend. Original, and had talent and passion for his work that you rarely see in humanity.
Oh gosh, this is so sad. 😢 I remember the day that this creative genius passed away. In fact I remember it clearly. I was a little boy of about 8 or 9 or so. Having grown up with the Muppets and Fraggle Rock, was just beginning to get into movies like Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. And also the old TV series The Storyteller, The Jim Henson Hour, etc... I remember the very day he passed away. And that night I put on Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits, and listened to it over and over again! Yeah, Walt Disney was definitely a visionary and a major influence on me in many ways. But no. Jim Henson changed my life. And touched my very soul. And for that I will forever be grateful. I love you Jim ❤
This should upset anybody that grew up a fan of the Muppets. They have a tribute documentary to Jim Henson on D+, but still tearing down the theater just so they can put in a ride to greedily charge extra for lightning pass is just disgusting and disrespectful to Jim’s memory
no surprise Disney wants to kill off another legacy if they'd do it to splash mountain they'll do it to anything these days just to make a quick buck and maybe even not then cause NO ONE asked for this ride and no one is even excited for it. though will say that kermit the frog impression was amazing lol
"Everybody who knows the Disney Company knows that they think they're smarter than anyone who was ever born."- Bernie Brillstein, agent and friend of Jim Henson
If in 2014 you had randomly selected an adult in the United States to run Disney, Disney would be doing better than it is now. It's absurd how badly they've handled everything. They've turned the parks into a giant vending machine, Star Wars into this strange robot that spits out random content, and they've effectively allowed The Muppets to disappear into the background Star Wars, The Muppets, and the Disney Parks are basically all geese that laid golden eggs, and they somehow found a way to make that fail. It's unbelievable. It's truly astonishing. All they had to do was pick someone with a single vision and a reliable history to write and direct all the Star Wars films, let the experienced Muppet performers help consult to create new films, and make the parks work for people at multiple income levels even if there are tiered experiences. That's it. That could make Disney unimaginable wealth. How did they do this?
Muppets Courtyard and Muppet vision 3-D can be saved, all they have to do is build monsters Inc. over in animation courtyard because that is a dead area and we don’t need Star Wars launch bay anymore since we have galaxy’s edge and they can move the harry hausens restaurant over to where Disney Junior is because that building is empty and the executives can deal with having their offices moved somewhere else so that way they can fit the show building for the roller coaster because this land is more important than having Disney executives have their crumbly little offices when they can just relocate them somewhere else, thus saving Muppets courtyard and everything in it! But since they’re building it in Muppets Courtyard, here’s my second idea, once they’re done with that villains show next to rock ‘n’ roll roller coaster they can move Muppet vision 3-D in that building and that way they’ll have the Muppets rock ‘n’ roll roller coaster and Muppet vision 3-D right next-door so that way Disney can still keep it and it’ll still be around
They don’t deserve the Muppets. Walt would be ashamed of this modern company. I’m excited for Disney to fall HARD as a result of their poor decisions. Bring back meritocracy and honoring the will of the people. Long live the legacy of Jim Henson and George Lucas!
This is no surprise. Jim Henson changed puppetry and it's perception. Iger and current management hate him almost as much as they hate Walt and Roy. These are people who are jealous and envious of true special people like Walt, Roy and Jim. Those with true imagination, vision and courage, to do what other thought couldn't be done. It galls them that they haven't created ANYTHING original that has had such an effect of the world. All Iger can do is buy up OTHER peoples creations and try to claim them as his own. Unlike even Eisner he can't even come up with original ideas for expanding the company. Eisner opened up cruising and created all the expanded resorts that people have come to love. What has Iger created from scratch or even presided over, that people around the world know about? NOTHING! The WORLD knows Mickey and Minnie, they also know Kermit and Miss Piggy. Corporate disney can't stand this. They also don't know how to "plus" something anymore. Just how to destroy and build something less than it was.
I hear where you’re coming from guys, but until I see further evidence, I don’t think the Stories Matter group had anything to do with The Muppet*Vision 3D decision. The RoA decision? Absolutely, as recent developments have shown that they’ve clearly been going through Frontierland with a fine toothed comb. This decision, on the other hand, seems to be based entirely on budget and expediency. Ideally, they would’ve torn down Star Wars Launch Bay, built Monstropolis on that land from the ground up and very few people would’ve been angry at them. However, they allegedly didn’t want to spend the money necessary to relocate the offices behind it and felt a need to have something in the can before Universal gets the chance to expand EU. If the latter portion of this rumor is true, what The Bob Iger Company fails to understand is that the main reason EU is often perceived as a real threat to them isn’t because of their stagnation, but because Universal will have more to offer than ever before at a time when they’re making an increasing number of changes to the WDW experience that alienate an increasing percentage of their core fan base along with them. While I understand hardcore fans may not be the majority of their customer base, they need to understand that we’re the ones who generate enthusiasm for their product for everyone else. If our family members and/or friends start to catch wind that we’re becoming less enthusiastic about the WDW experience, the less likely they will be to pay for it for themselves in response. If there’s a well-reasoned argument for why Muppet*Vision 3D has to go beyond budget, expediency or, God forbid, the Stories Matter group, I’d love to hear it because while losing it would still be sad, I could at least accept that it’s what’s best for the park long term. As things currently stand, though, this just seems like yet another shortsighted straw on the camel’s back.
This is a travesty. Disney has completely neglected the Muppets and Jim Henson's legacy. The Muppets have given so many of us such joy and it's sad that they're most likely going to be forgotten due to Disney's stupidity.
One way or another someone(s) in this entertainment industry and/or out of it is seriously going to seek out and do a great service to preserving the legacy of Jim Henson's still beloved franchise. I wish Jim's heirs would have the gumption to have the Muppets inventory put into an all-in-one fully interactive Muppet museum for the general public of all ages to enjoy year round. It maybe a crazy small idea. Not the only of many ideas into protecting Jim's legacy. But it will be out of the hands of Disney for good!
I still think all the stuff Disney is doing with tearing things down and/or changing things is due to panic about Universal, and I don’t think any changes Disney makes is going to matter. Universal is taking over the park scene. Mark my words. Disney is about to be #2, and will be there a long time…
I think that the passing of Henson and his son’s disaffection ( for valid reasons) really doomed the muppets with somebody like Frank Oz taking over. Disney just made it worse. Hensons kid should have just retired it…like Waterson did with Calvin & Hobbes. But big bucks are hard to say no to
Generally speaking, give this place a miss. Visited Disney world years ago when my daughters were younger and even back then it was an overpriced; underwhelming experience. A filthy, garbage-strewn dystopia. Every person working there looked miserable and apathetic. Not a smile in sight. Sad, really.
Henson was trying to sell The Muppet Show to every US network. They didn't want to know. Only ITV in the UK gave it a chance and it was the best decision.
And what’s REALLY sad if you think about this-George Lucas let them do this to him while he was still LIVING (destroy all the good things he put into the world. And build THEIR ideas of good theme park attractions)
Ironic seeing your man Trump and his friends want to end PBS. Which would be pretty dramatic for part of Hensons legacy being the Muppets of Sesame Street. Must break your soul that Henson gave them to the Sesame Workshop. Keep on spinning your hate.
THIS, IS, the LAST Straw! I thought that Destroying the most Beloved, most amazing ride ever made- Splash Mountain was THE last straw, but this takes the CAKE!!!! Forget about all the extra, non-constructed empty space DW has to build new areas: what about all the old soundstages and ‘studio’ spaces that was there when MGM Studios opened and some shows would actually shoot in Florida? Why not use those buildings instead? 🤦♂️
Disney ruined the Jim Henson's Legacy: Muppets, by buying it!
Hensons destroyed Jim Henson's Legacy by selling. Don't let the family off the hook.
@@dlewis9760 Even if he didn't sell his IP, his family may have after his passing. People are/were under the impression that Disney would do their IPs good (treat them as they would have), but that ended up not being the case. As it was with Stan Lee, who ended up being mistreated, and let's not forget George Lucas.
@@Bryan-d3sdisagree nobody was being mistreated that's a little bit over exaggeration don't you think first of all I want to come to the Muppets they didn't really do that terrible job with them in the first place have you even seen those last two Muppets movies they were pretty decent I haven't heard too many complaints about the Muppets recently. When it comes to Marvel nobody was disrespecting Stan Lee at all one thing people seem to have to forgot is that the Marvel company was bought by Disney because they wasn't doing a good job in the first place keeping company in check. Regarding George Lucas he wanted to sell Star wars because he was pretty much want to be done with the movie industry and spent time with his family and there's nothing wrong with that
@@dlewis9760Henson himself planned on selling his company and projects, with the exception of the Muppets created for Sesame Street.
And Disney will be losing the Muppets upon being broken up under antitrust. Congress will hand the Muppets back to the Henson family on a silver platter and likewise they will hand Star Wars back to the Lucas family.
They lost out on so many opportunities to keep the Muppets alive and fresh
The last few Muppet movies have been horrible. Down and out muppets, Kermit and Miss Piggy divorced, DEI all over the place. It’s terrible. Jim Henson entertained and educated generations, and Disney has desecrated his legacy. Much like Star Wars they ruin everything that made it special and wholesome.
That makes no sense DEI wasn't even a thing when those last two Muppets movies came out they were pretty much okay movies besides I never heard anything about Kermit and Miss Piggy being divorced. Disney didn't really do anything to Jim Henson's legacy at all it's just that the Muppets are not being that popular for a while now
Kermit and fozzy are going to be embroiled in a torrid love affair in the next movie!
@@animezilla4486It happened back around 2015. If you watch the new Muppet show, they set it up early on that they are, at the very least, separated.
That's because Jim Henson was about making good things for kids and not having sex with them like Disney has been since Walt died
why is everybody always saying that disgusting part when is definitely not true and they know it
@animezilla4486 dicks on the cover of the little mermaid, and other cartoons from them. The sex ring they just busted in Florida with Disney employees, them going all in on the LGBTQ+ crap that the + adds PEDOPHILES to its flag. Oh my bad they call them child attached persons...... shall I continue?????
It’s so strange that their investors don’t go through the roof. They’re either not very bright, or Disney isn’t being honest with them.
This company has never hid from what it wanted to do, which is destroy everything old that they are threatened by.
The level of disrespect, jealousy, and at times flat out hatred towards the people who’s brilliant work allow them to be in the positions that they’re in today is so bad it’s actually offensive.
As an artist, this offends me. They don’t know how to create, only destroy.
Yarra heard the saying how would the old end with the new because that's what all theme parks are doing these days is Willie debatable about anybody's legacy being destroyed but people don't want to seem to accept the fact that theme parks do not keep everything there forever for example universal studios theme park has changed everything on the last decade can you name any attractions based on movies done by Steven Spielberg in the past
Probably a bit of both. Plus their biggest investors are fully on board with destroying everything that came before to bring about the "woke utopia" they've been striving for for years, the people be damned.
Tom corless went on a full on rant the other day about it, first time I’ve seen him properly criticise Disneys idiocy
I saw that, I actually finished watching his video too lol
The Muppets were a problem for disney,
None of the characters were gay or black , so for this crime , they must erase Henson from the existence .
The only problem with the Muppets was that they are not that relevant anymore because people seem to forgot that the Muppets are not that popular anymore what does being black or gay has anything to do with this. Look I grew up Jim Henson
Bob Iger and his merry band of greedy friends will keep on destroying everything until they are all forced out of Disney! Monsters inc can go in the animation courtyard or the empty starwars hotel. But Disney won’t listen to me
They won’t listen to all of us!!
We need to find a way to get them to listen to us
MuppetVision 3D just needed some updates. A wider variety of shows that cycle through, or seasonal shows that only play around holidays. The original TV show had guest appearances. Integrate characters or actors from upcoming Disney movies for some cross-promotion.
Disney is doing it's best to destroy itself.
Disney is determined to destroy everything it touches and everything it ever touched
This was my favorite part of the entire studios park. This is by far the dumbest idea Disney has ever thought of
Why did the make a tribute to Henson if they were going to destroy his legacy?
Marvin is completely correct. And I thought I couldn't hate Disney more.
I despise current day Disney, and the decision makers responsible, for their ineptitude and mishandling of everything they've acquired... Jim Henson was such a massive talent that he should be so much more respected than he is. The Muppets and Sesame Street while under Disney haven't been treated in the high regard they deserve.
Just the Muppets, Disney doesn’t own those other things.
Empty parks don't sell Lightning Lane either and that's exactly what Disney is going to have if they keep this up.
I remember hearing that Henson was delirious from his illness in the late 80s, and Disney took advantage of it. At the time, I dismissed it as a conspiracy theory. The more I see Henson's legacy be swept under the rug and tarnished, the more credible this allegation becomes.
The Disney Execs want to destroy and end ALL of the Disney Legacies to create their own Legacy of DEI, LGBTQ and WOKE.
Decisions so bad it's like they hate their own company. The fall of a giant.
I am sad and heartbroken over this thank you Kermit and the rest of the gang for being part of my childhood my you RIP
Thank God I grew up in the 80’s. Disney bent on destroying everything for these kids.
I grew up in the 90s things way different than the 80s. Did the kids got nothing to do with that because I can guarantee you they don't even know who some of these characters are
@ I don’t know. I just know there wasn’t any weird a** political BS in everything.
This s not about Jims vision. This is about Walts vision
And Walt would have wanted the attraction discarded?
@@yosefdemby8792 Now when the heck did I say that ? You clearly are not paying attention with what Bob & friends are doing
Unless they plan on moving Muppet Vision 3D to the Sunset Showcase building (if the Villains show is "limited-time" only), then why bother going back to WDW at all?
Bob Iger is literally a Disney villain.
I'm writing a sequel to the book DisneyWar filled with libel about not just him, but his wife and his children to ruin their reputations. Guilt by association.
Where is Elon?
Does he see Igers destruction of Disney?
Is there a way that Peltz and Musk can help save classic Disney before it is gone forever?
I wish everyone on here and all other Disney fans would realize that is the ONLY thing that will save Disney is for Elon or some one like him to buy the company. Firing Bob will do nothing, they will just put someone else in with the same ideas. Please everyone Boycott
*To be converted you have to destroy your past, destroy your history. You have to stamp on it, you have to say 'my ancestral culture does not exist, it doesn't matter.'* - _V. S. Naipaul_ Disney is seeking to destroy the masterworks of the past, defame and shame the greats who crafted these Masterpieces, all because Iger bought them and they are now his and his syncopates to do with as they wish. This is why copyright law needs to be changed to protect our past works from these cultural vandals now and forever. Limit copyright to 20 years for corporations, lifetime of the creator, and make it illegal to change these originals and allow true fair use without constant copyright claims!
Time to triple, triple down!
Shallow and petty people cant stand people that are more popular than them, like walt and henson.
Another reason to dislike Disney! Another freaking Screw Up for Disney!
I was a kid with my younger brother and my parents at a hotel the morning of the day we were going into Disneyland when we heard the news that Jim Henson had passed away. This is like getting that news all over again.
They have already ruined any chance for a vacation for the average family with their prices.
Outside the Muppet Show, his other work still holds a special place in my heart. Dark Crystal and Labyrinth absolutely blew my mind as a kid. He really is a legend. Original, and had talent and passion for his work that you rarely see in humanity.
So sad that Jim Henson’s Muppets are being replaced by Bob Iger’s Dummies.
The current Disney doesn’t like Hippie Henson.
This should upset anybody that grew up a fan of the Muppets. They have a tribute documentary to Jim Henson on D+, but still tearing down the theater just so they can put in a ride to greedily charge extra for lightning pass is just disgusting and disrespectful to Jim’s memory
Disney on a mission to scuttle the ship.
no surprise Disney wants to kill off another legacy if they'd do it to splash mountain they'll do it to anything these days just to make a quick buck and maybe even not then cause NO ONE asked for this ride and no one is even excited for it.
though will say that kermit the frog impression was amazing lol
So glad I got to see the muffet show one last time five six years ago before it got terminated
"Everybody who knows the Disney Company knows that they think they're smarter than anyone who was ever born."- Bernie Brillstein, agent and friend of Jim Henson
That’s Jim Henson last historic creation before jim Henson died in 1989.
He died in 1990.
If in 2014 you had randomly selected an adult in the United States to run Disney, Disney would be doing better than it is now. It's absurd how badly they've handled everything.
They've turned the parks into a giant vending machine, Star Wars into this strange robot that spits out random content, and they've effectively allowed The Muppets to disappear into the background
Star Wars, The Muppets, and the Disney Parks are basically all geese that laid golden eggs, and they somehow found a way to make that fail.
This is sad to watch happen. Screw Disney!
Except Muppet Vision is not closing at all. It's a hoax and there is no Monsters Inc coming ever.
《Spot-On, Pro!!!》
...Equally Excellent impressions of both Jim Henson's "Kermit" & Matt Vogel's "Constantine"...
🐸👍🐸👍
I hate the fact Disney World is getting rid of MuppetVision. My two daughters & their friends hate it too. We all love MuppetVision
Is there anything we can do to stop any of this?
They don’t deserve the Muppets. Walt would be ashamed of this modern company. I’m excited for Disney to fall HARD as a result of their poor decisions. Bring back meritocracy and honoring the will of the people. Long live the legacy of Jim Henson and George Lucas!
Not gonna lie. This feels like false outrage.
There are guns in the muppets show- they dont like guns🤷🏽♂️
Go for it, Disney. Put that one final nail in the coffin…
It seems almost every property Disney acquires suffers.
Disney could sit on their hands and touch nothing, and still do better than this.
They're gonna turn MK into a MUDPIT.
This is a travesty. Disney has completely neglected the Muppets and Jim Henson's legacy. The Muppets have given so many of us such joy and it's sad that they're most likely going to be forgotten due to Disney's stupidity.
At this point, the muppets are better off owned by a different company or the Henson family.
If they are Malls, they should abolish entrance ticket sales and lightning lane every attraction
They already destroyed Henson’s legacy when they fired Steve Whitmire.
What the hell do they have against Jim Henson?!
But big bucks are hard to say no to
“Doomed Josh, you’re doomed for all time”
Generally speaking, give this place a miss. Visited Disney world years ago when my daughters were younger and even back then it was an overpriced; underwhelming experience. A filthy, garbage-strewn dystopia. Every person working there looked miserable and apathetic. Not a smile in sight. Sad, really.
The Muppets was made here in England
Henson was trying to sell The Muppet Show to every US network. They didn't want to know. Only ITV in the UK gave it a chance and it was the best decision.
The Muppet Show, yes.
Don’t let them ruin his legacy
And what’s REALLY sad if you think about this-George Lucas let them do this to him while he was still LIVING (destroy all the good things he put into the world. And build THEIR ideas of good theme park attractions)
Ironic seeing your man Trump and his friends want to end PBS. Which would be pretty dramatic for part of Hensons legacy being the Muppets of Sesame Street. Must break your soul that Henson gave them to the Sesame Workshop.
Keep on spinning your hate.
Budd wei zerr.. Dawg, you can't IMPROVE on perfection, neither can you DESTROY it.
All you can do, is make your OWN contemporary brand.
7:58 Marvin lost it there!
I still watch the dark crystal.... its better than anything modern disney has ever made.
THIS, IS, the LAST Straw! I thought that Destroying the most Beloved, most amazing ride ever made- Splash Mountain was THE last straw, but this takes the CAKE!!!! The Muppets 3 D Vision, was meant to be a living MUSEUM, of THE AMAZING MUPPETS, and be there forever, as a Museum to the creation of the Muppets, and a living breathing version of the TV SHOW< preserved, for all time and all Generations!! It is a living example, a real version of being in the actual TV Show!!! It cannot be replaced!!! It is one of a kind!!! These flat-out idiots working there, just do not get it!!!! This is beloved around the world!!!!! Just like Splash!!!!! WHY!!!! All the puppets, sets, creations from the show, are intact and to be preserved for all-time, there!! Oh!! this just makes me sick!!!! WHY!!!??? They can put that Monster's Land in the old Animation Courtyard, where if would fit, and make total sense!!! AND,, why in the world, would The Beloved Muppets, be thrown onto a Roller Coaster??? That IS NOT, a Legacy to the, or their Beloved Show in our hearts!! That makes ZERO sense!! The level of idiots and stupidity, at this Company is nauseating and I am done!!! I have my videos, and YT videoes, and my memories. Never going again, ever, to WDW.
Monsters Inc is VERY popular at Disneyland…
You all on the east coast just need a good attraction for it!!
Rather have monsters inc land at this point. I loved muppetvison but at this point in 2025 it probably belongs in a museum.
Crmeck can crash on my couch. Disney can not!😈
