Explore Ulu Baram

We are a group of 11 volunteers from 9 different countries with a common goal: to raise the awareness of the Long Banga tribes and the minority groups in Ulu Baram region.This project was supported by the international organization AIESEC in partnership with Curtin University Sarawak.
Based in Long Banga village, this project lasted for three weeks. We participate in diverse activities every day. During our stay we had the opportunity to know the culture of this village through the music, gastronomy, religion and education.
To show the culture paronama of the Ulu Baram region, we experiment different radical activities such as spending a night in the jungle, hiking to Arol Ano and Sekuan waterfalls, fishing, hunting at night and going on a boat trip.
