Hello, is it possible to use an arcade PSU as yours on SuperGuns like the retroElectronik ones, which seem to only accept 20 or 24 pins ATX ? Thanks a million
I saw that, but the RetroElectronik SuperGuns have different PSU Inputs: only a 24 pins ATX and a another part with slots to inputs electric cables from an Arcade PSU, I guess. Thanks anyway
Love the tutorial I'm getting my Supergun in soon and this walkthrough has helped me a lot Btw whats the music you have playing during the video. Very relaxing..
have you checked your PSU unit to see if the voltage feeding is 5v? also it could possibly be the RGB cable... or it could be even the HAS unit itself has issue.
Sir ... my A boards fans (CPS2 & F3) doesn't start when i power up the system ! Any advice about this (i use a SUZO/HAPP psu) ? I placed the cables like you do in this tutorial :) Thank you in advance for all !
Hi! Thanks for the vid!! Where did you get that awesome Acrylic case for your CPS3 board? I need to get one for a Sega st-v board I have and possibly have someone make me one for a custom Supergun and a couple other boards but I don't know where to start. Thanks for your help!
The CPS2 kickharness cable that can be purchased separately, will allow 4th,5th and 6th button be used as kick buttons in certain games like Street Fighters (same thing works on CPS3 as well) To connect fight stick, you need to buy Undamned UD-USB adapter just like how i demonstrated in the video. Without this adapter, you wont be able to hook up fight stick at all.
1- Does the kick harness connect to the HAS or the Jamma boards themselves? 2- Any kick harness compatible with CPS2/3 will work such as the ones found on mikesarcade.com? Or does RGB sell his own? 3- Does one single kick harness work for both player 1 and player 2?
1. Kick harness cable, one end plugged into HAS, the other end plugged into JAMMA board (example: CPS2 board has kickharness port) 2. RGB sells his own kick harness cable, I am not sure if kickharness from mikesarcade.com is compatible with HAS supergun. But you should drop a message to RGB to ask about this. I assume it should be fully compatible 3. that's correct, one single kickharness work for both P1 and P2
Yes, it has S-Video/Component module (daughter board) that you can purchase separately from the same developer. c1.staticflickr.com/1/156/31326698420_7aeac7869b.jpg
I just wanna thank you for involvement and for the help given to the arcade community
Your setup is the best I ever seen 👍
Thanks for creating this tutorial. This really helps a lot!
what if my power supply has AC/L and aC/N. where would i put the blue and brown wire from the AC plug?
Can I connect a fork terminal to the ac power supply after striping the wires?
Please do. This guy is risking shorts straight from 240v/110v mains if the unit is moved or tugged on. Terminals highly advisable.
yes, please use Folk Terminal, i did get lazy in my tutorial. It's much safer and recommended method to use folk terminal.
How much do these normally go for?
Any alternatives to the Undamned adapter? Seems they're no longer being sold anywhere.
I use the Brook Neo Geo Super converter. You can get those pretty easy from Arcade Shock.
that is such a nice crt 😭😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️

If you check my video, i am actually using the arcade PSU here. It's not ATX PSU.

Does HAS still make superguns? I can't find them anywhere..
yes he does, you need to go to Arcade Project forum (google it), then PM "RGB" nickname, he is the one that make HAS Supergun.
@@modology Thanks for the info!!!
I will definitely check this out. Much appreciated👍
Love the tutorial
I'm getting my Supergun in soon and this walkthrough has helped me a lot
Btw whats the music you have playing during the video. Very relaxing..
it's generic background music that came with iMovie app on iphone.
@@modology Hey good to know :)
I have an HAS v3. For some reason I get faint wavy video noise regardless of pcb. Any ideas?
have you checked your PSU unit to see if the voltage feeding is 5v? also it could possibly be the RGB cable... or it could be even the HAS unit itself has issue.
Discovered it was a ground problem. I disconnected the FG cable and connected it to standard ground on power supply. Now looks perfect
Anyone know how to adjust button layout on the has?

I'm not familiar with suzo/happ psu, but have you adjusted the voltage on the PSU yet?
Done ... i've remove the stock fan and i've replaced with a new one ! All good now ! Cheers !
How would this work with a jamma splitter/switch?
yes, it should
Hi, where did you get that 6 pin power supply cable with the grounding forks? I can't find one anywhere.
It's cheap arcade powersupply that you can buy from Aliexpress. Just search around there
Try to contact Micheal aka RGB on Arcade Project forum, he sells this cable
Where can I buy this HAS V3.1Supergun?
You can private message "RGB" on www.arcade-projects.com forum
Thanks!
Yoooooo, please use fork connectors when playing with mains power

You can get the acrylic case for CPS3 from JasenCustom website
You can also try a company called Highflow. That's where I get all mine. They have the stv as well
2 questions. 1) what's the cps2 kick harness for. 2) how do I connect a fight stick to this

@@modology thank you.
Do you need the kickharness if you use regular controllers or only if your using a fight stick?
@@Miketage You still need the kick harness cable regardless if you are using fightstick or joypad
Miketage you need the kickharnesses for any 6 button game, so pretty much a majority of Capcom’s arcade fighting games

Does this wire/color set up change for USA?
dont think so, you should get similar color
is this compatible with Darksoft's CPS2 kit?
yes it is
What model BVM is that?
BVM 20F1U
@@modology very nice.
How do you turn it off? Do you just unplug it?
correct
What PSU are you using?
woops just saw it in the description. Thanks.
Does this do composite, S-Video, component, etc?
Yes, it has S-Video/Component module (daughter board) that you can purchase separately from the same developer. c1.staticflickr.com/1/156/31326698420_7aeac7869b.jpg
Instead of an arcade power supply why not a computer power supply and what one
you can use computer power supply as well but Arcade Powersupply is much easier to wire up and also easier to adjust voltage
@@modology what would be the best pc power supply to use
those "long spacers" are called standoffs.
ALWAY TEST YOUR MAINS WIRE
the colors may not be the same!!!!
Anyone know how to remap buttons on the HAS?
