    Most helpful video I’ve seen. Thanks for the tips. We’re in Coldspring, TX and nearly drowned our last batch by following directions that were definitely not meant for East Texas humidity. 🙌🏼

    Common sense, I like you. Starting my first set of 3 different sets. Having a second incubator is such a great idea for me at the moment
    I have 20 in an incubator(started 12 5 days later) and 24 in my bathroom closet under a heat lamp with temp gauge.
    Outskirts of Hill Country TX here.
    New sub 🤠

    I'm on the Gulf Coast. The humidity is 85% tonight. I believe the only time we would be able to do a hatch is in the early fall when the humidity drops off some.

    I can't find anything on dry hatching guinea eggs. I'm currently at 26 on a humidity day 6. Would you increase humidity, perhaps on lockdown?

    I’m dry incubating for the first time, my humidity is at 25%. How low would be too low? TIA ❤

      Just pretend it doesn't exist until day 18 then bump it slowly to 50/55. In other words it's fine lol

      Ok great! TYSM for answering my question. I’ll definitely go slow with raising the humidity.

    I try dry hatching after waiting your video but all eggs got rotten 😫

    • @thefeathernest
      @thefeathernest  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would mean either the eggs were too old when you started or too dirty. With dry hatching there is no humidity. Try again but with eggs that are clean and no more than 10 days old.

      Also all? I have never heard of anyone with all of them going rotten? They had to have been old.
