    Radiomaster AG01 gimbals were provided by www.radiomaste... bit.ly/2YMluZC
    The original Radiomaster Hall effect gimbals were not bad. But not great either. Now there is a new option: CNC aluminum with better sensors and much better bearings!

    I look forward to the day that the TX16S gimbal becomes the bottleneck of my flight performance.

    there are also cnc gimbals available from creation, less than half the price, they are digital gimbals (flysky) so require a software mod too. i have them in my nirvana, and if you have ever been plagued by bad mis-centering yaw gimbal, you will appreciate these gimbals.

      I just did the flysky gimbal mod in my Tx16s. They are nice.👍

    Thanx for a great review on the AG01, and especially how well you sense the center position, just recieved the Boxer max, this thing is awesome with those gimbals 😊👍

    I recently bought the T16 S max because I got tired of the issues with my Taranis xd9.
    It came with a damaged SH switch in that it would stick to forward position and needed to be pushed back.
    I didn’t use that switch on my Taranis so I wouldn’t use it on the t16S. I emailed radiomaster about the issue and they gave me a choice to send me a replacement, a 3$ part , and r n r it myself or send it in . After looking at those gimbals at the last race I new I had to have them. So they will be coming soon.
    And because I watch everything Inav on your channel I have a question. I just started fpv wings and hooked hard . I’ve raced rc planes for years and at 130mph the travel on elevator and ailerons was very little. Back then I flew a futaba radio. In Inav I use auto launch in stable mode. In manual mode it’s crazy too much travel so fly in stable mode for now. If I go into Inav to make adjustments for less travel it does that in stable mode too and that is not enough to launch in stable mode. It just hits the ground. So can I use duel rates on one switch and manual mode on another? Or put manual mode and duel rates on same switch. I want to go fast with wings but use auto launch. Thanks for all you do in Inav your the Inav guru.

    If you remove the spacer you reach the end of the stick travel perfectly even on the corners! Easy 🤷🏻‍♂️

    @Paweł Spychalski according to touching sticks to the front plate of the radio issue , just simply remove this shiny gold aluminum plate or make the sticks longer they are adjustable :) probably you did notice as well that placement of the AG01 gimbals are much more lower/deeper in comparison to stock hall gimbals

    Thanks for this video Pawel. I'm currently using Jumper T16. When it's turned ON but I am not moving it, I can see the values still moving in the Monitor section. With AG01 gimbals, does that happen?

    Hey Paweł,
    I have just sent my ag01 gimbals back. Although the felt fantastic, I fly a lot professionally with cine lifters which requires extremally smooth inputs, especially around the center. The problem with ag01 for me was that you have to push quite hard to get away from the center and moving slowly through center in a smooth panning fashion was almost impossible and you could see it on the cinema camera. They are just so stiff in the center. Is there a way to get rid of the center stiffness without having to loosen the springs all the way? I searched the webs, but nothing so far.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Do you have a link for those sticks? The ones at 1:34 - I have them for M3 threads, i just got the AG01 sticks that say they are M4 and I cant find these same sticks in M4 thread

      M3 are for a smaller vesion for Zorro for example. You should check in Radiomaster store if they have them still

    I clicked on this thinking the dude was Joshua Bardwell.
    Instead I was assaulted by a strong Russian accent. Nothing wrong with that at all, just wasn’t expecting it.

      Slavik for sure. I'm from Poland but most of us, Eastern Europeans sound very similar. Rusian would be slightly more "singing" with even more pronounsed "r" and "w"

      And thanks again for the great content, you’re actually the reason I ordered the ag01. Should have mine by Monday 👍👍. Can’t wait to try em out. And good luck with the channel! Honestly if I didn’t look at your sub count I would have thought you had 1 million+ subs!

      @@FPVUniversity I have The x20s as well and just installed the ag01 gimbals . I feel the x20s gimbals have the edge and u can adjust the axis of the gimbals as well. Instead of being say directly up and down u can tilt them left or right by up to 8deg i think. Like sometimes on a quick throttle i will yaw some usually same direction so i tilted it some and now i wont yaw with a quick blip most of the time at least.

    Really what we want to know most of all, is the metal stick length identical to the the standard HAL and POT gimbals. Someone told me they were shorter, which is a NO SALE for me if they are, as they would then be inferior regardless of what's CNC engineering is going on underneath.
    Gimbals are not going to improve your flying no matter what your flying skill is if that's what anyone is thinking.
    If you want the absolute smoothest stick travel on any gimble, simply remove all the centering springs and centering levers. Once you get even half way good, you don't need them. But shh, don't tell anyone, we need to sell more of these $79 vanity gimbals. My springs are set so loose and after thousands of hours of flying, the levers worn so smooth it's almost like they aren't event here any more, even though the sticks still will center themselves.. so I leave them alone. To much trouble now while blind to remove them.

    • @FPVUniversity
      @FPVUniversity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, they are not shorter. They are adjustable in length as well

    • @choppergirl
      @choppergirl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FPVUniversity Thanks for the answer. I saw on a Painless360 video yesterday that the TX16s version is incompatible with the CNC alluminum color plate kit, which rules them out for me... also that the included screws are too long and you had to use soem washer standoffs *designer face palm*
      I ran into the same screw problem with the color kit included screws being too short... when the lowering plates were also installed just barely hanging on by a thread or two... I had to buy a 3rd party light ring kit just for the 4 longer screws inside (which gave me about 5 threads of holding power)
