This is now the third movie I've attempted to watch which states Zhao Lusi is in it...nope...not one scene with her.
The subtitles are too modern day for a Chinese historical drama.
I doubt very much that a guard in those times would say,”roger that” instead of “yes, Your Highness.”
But it happens in this drama.
Very unprofessional.

This interpreter for the subtitles like to use the phrase “roger that” instead of a more traditional phrase for those times.
“Roger that” sounds ridiculous because it’s a modern day American phrase and really is inappropriate for historical dramas. Wish the interpreter would stop using that phrase. I’ve seen it in other historical dramas too.

This drama as nothing to do with Zhao Lusi,that is just a third rate actress,who is not in a league with the Two Zhoa.
I Agree not to use famous actors and actresses images non-stop to promote other series, but you are too rude. It’s not the fault of the series, which was a good one, and Miss Lushi is not a better actress, just has better management, and connections. In private she says only nonsense in her interviews, and appearances, when translated into English.
