I am Norwegian, and as a young man I admit I did not appreciate Liv Ullmann enough. But as I got older and got to see more of her work and her commitment, I changed my mind. She is a generous, warm and wonderful human being and artist. She deserves her award and much more. Thank you Liv!

I am very glad Liv Ullmann received a lifetime achievement Oscar. I hope my recommendation for Hedy Lamarr will also result for an Oscar at the upcoming 2023 Oscars, because Hedy Lamarr was a survivor of the Holocaust. She lost her father and uncle and her first husband in the concentration camps of Hitler's Austria where he was born, and Hedy Lamarr made it out with her mother and starred in many movies in Paramount Studios -- Victor Isaac Alexander
Lamarr was a brilliant and exceptionally beautiful woman with a fascinating life story but no great shakes as an actress.

So sad the honorary awards are not part of the Academy Awards cerimony anymore. Anyway, congrats, Liv. Love her performances in The Immigrants and in Face to Face and also her movies with director Ingmar Bergman
in a sense it is mich better this way because they can be honored properly.
