Nickelodeon needs to tone down the live action sitcoms and give us more interesting cartoons like The Loud House and revive other Nicktoons that have potential for a comeback like My Life as a Teenage Robot, Jimmy Neutron, and Danny Phantom and give them the treatment like what they did with Hey Arnold with The Jungle Movie. Either give them one more season or a TV movie to tie up lose ends. Maybe give us a Teenage Robot and Danny Phantom crossover. That sounds like potential due to their share of similarities.

Rise of the TMNT has a pretty large following on Tumblr, and the show is actually very well animated. I see a lot of people say its lazy and bod but personally, I think it's really good and the amount of detail put into is great. Probably the best animation coming from Nick this year

I don't know if you've tried by now, but Rise of the TMNT is probably the most beginner friendly of turtle media and different enough from the others to not be bogged down by franchise traditional expectations, while still respecting them contrary to popular belief. The nostalgia bombers are the ones at fault for IMDb's rating, it's easy to see by just tabbing it into age range of voters (Nick still needs to do a better job advertising it though). It's the BEST animated show out right now in being dynamic and ambitious in action, period, thanks to a hardworking staff and a co-creator with history in both Samurai Jack pre-s5 and Motorcity. People let the artstyle cloud their judgment but I personally really like it, it's like a moving comic book like the aforementioned other series.

While still miles ahead of Cartoon Network, I think we can all agree that the lamest thing about Nickelodeon this year was its Kart Racers game. It needs more Nicktoons, including Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim, Avatar, and The Loud House. On the plus side, we did get to see the Rugrats Chanukah special on the main channel this December. I hope someday to make my own animated series and hopefully be able to submit it to Nickelodeon. My series, of course, being a spiritual successor to Rugrats, which was once its longest-running and most popular cartoon. The death of Stephen Hillenburg (God bless his soul) has further inspired me to put a lot of effort into this series.

I kinda have to disagree on this one -- yeah, Nick was lame in 2018, definitely in comparison to how they were doing a few years ago when they were just knocking things out of the park, but "lame" is better than "being downright disrespectful to our audience and/or anything anyone might like", which has been Cartoon Network's modus operandi for the past number of years (and that continued to a lesser extent in 2018). I didn't like CN's crop this year, and I haven't liked anything of theirs since Clarence. (Yes, that show finished up this year, but it premiered a few years ago, which is what I'm getting at.) I still feel there's just this contempt that CN has over anything that's not their very small handful of safe, ratings-consistent reruns (TTG and Gumball pretty much) that makes their treatment of many of their other series, at some point in their life or another, feel like active sabotage. (The burnoff-premiere of Summer Camp Island that Sunday morning in July comes to mind.) Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was Nick's big highlight of the year, and beyond that, there wasn't much else to say -- SpongeBob dominated all, and The Loud House is now firmly Nick's second-fiddle series (a la The Fairly OddParents earlier this decade.) Also, I seriously do recommend checking out Hunter Street. You do need to take some care to watch it all in order, but beyond that it is sooo good.
The sad part is that in 2019 when spongebob makes 20 years Stephen won’t be around to celebrate 🤧

I agree Nickelodeon is getting more worse than it did 10 years ago.
Nick needs to bring back the 90s and early 20s shows. They were the best.
While still miles ahead of Cartoon Network, I think we can all agree that the lamest thing about Nickelodeon this year was its Kart Racers game. It needs more Nicktoons, including Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim, Avatar, and The Loud House.
On the plus side, we did get to see the Rugrats Chanukah special on the main channel this December.
I hope someday to make my own animated series and hopefully be able to submit it to Nickelodeon. My series, of course, being a spiritual successor to Rugrats, which was once its longest-running and most popular cartoon. The death of Stephen Hillenburg (God bless his soul) has further inspired me to put a lot of effort into this series.

I don't see what's not to like in episodes like "Man Ray Returns," "The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom," "Teacher's Pests," "Squid Noir," "Doodle Dimension," "Bottle Burglars," "My Leg!," "Karen's Virus," and "Squirrel Jelly." If you're talking about seasons 6-9A, then I'd agree on how they're trash. Then again, you like Teen Titans Go (Or at least have a picture of it as your pfp) so your taste is questionable.

Nickelodeon should prioritize a lot more on their animated shows and have a very diverse selection of various cartoons.

I kinda have to disagree on this one -- yeah, Nick was lame in 2018, definitely in comparison to how they were doing a few years ago when they were just knocking things out of the park, but "lame" is better than "being downright disrespectful to our audience and/or anything anyone might like", which has been Cartoon Network's modus operandi for the past number of years (and that continued to a lesser extent in 2018). I didn't like CN's crop this year, and I haven't liked anything of theirs since Clarence. (Yes, that show finished up this year, but it premiered a few years ago, which is what I'm getting at.) I still feel there's just this contempt that CN has over anything that's not their very small handful of safe, ratings-consistent reruns (TTG and Gumball pretty much) that makes their treatment of many of their other series, at some point in their life or another, feel like active sabotage. (The burnoff-premiere of Summer Camp Island that Sunday morning in July comes to mind.)
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was Nick's big highlight of the year, and beyond that, there wasn't much else to say -- SpongeBob dominated all, and The Loud House is now firmly Nick's second-fiddle series (a la The Fairly OddParents earlier this decade.)
Also, I seriously do recommend checking out Hunter Street. You do need to take some care to watch it all in order, but beyond that it is sooo good.
