shouldn't we use superposition method to solve it like the beams. i mean you get the first theta from actual frame without the reaction and a virtual frame with 1 unit load in the position of the reaction( using virtual method). and you get the other theta from redundant frame with its virtual frame. are beams and frames are computed differently in force method? thank you

Hi..Can I ask a question? How to choose correclty for the rebundant point? as I still donr understand. Any tips for this?

Take any reaction away that would keep the frame stable afterwards, or if a question is asking for a specific reaction, take that same reaction as redundant as you would reach the answer faster that way.

can i take roller support as a redundant????? reply fast

I wouldn't because that may make the frame unstable because it would just fall/bend downwards (even though there is a fixed support at A) I just wouldn't risk it.

Of course you can, the frame will be stable even without the roller....its like a cantilever Beam... All the loads are going to be taken by the fixed support
