I have never known the name of his pattern but as I have successfully fished this kebari in the mountain streams of Japan I have decided to name the "Yamato kebari".

Thank you for watching my video Dennis! I tie my kebari just like I was taught by Japanese tenkara masters Dr. Hisao Ishigaki and Masami Sakakibara whom I have met three years ago. This way of tying flies comes from times when tenkara fishing was used by professional anglers as it makes ties stronger.

Nice tying sequence. This Kebari looks similar like some of the most famous Softhackle Wets. I like to fish this flies a lot.
