This is fascinating, thank you. I grew up in Tarzana from 1978 to 1993. All my memories of home are there. Lived on a ranch off Tampa, on Shirley Ave near the train tracks on Topham.
Well done Brad! I'm also interested in our local history! AND a HUGE Tarzan fan, I've been in the area several times, and know these locations. CHEERS!

Lee Van Cleef lived there too at the time, did you happen to ever meet him ?
We moved from L.A. to Northridge in 1957 and I grew up in "the valley". I just love this stuff.
Great video!! I love seeing these historical people and places put into context with the current times
Thanks, Dave. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Such a fantastic video! You should do a history of Encino video next!
Thanks for the compliment. It's nice to hear.
@sashaodessky Well guess what? I just made a video on Encino. Thanks for planting the seed.
That walnut tree has some great burl if it ever comes down. Someone could make a great ERB desk.
I used to live on Wilbur and literally the 101. From around 86-97 I went to Portola JR high
I went to Wilbur elementary school right across from Portola😂
