How could you guys forget the number one player defying time: Kazuyoshi Miura? 55-years old and still playing for the Suzuka Point Getters, he’s in his 37th year of professional football.
Don't get me wrong, he'll always be King Kazu... but i find that in the past 7-10 years, his career has been more of a "gimmick" considering he plays just around 30 minutes since 2010...and most it from japan's 2nd DiV, i'd put him on the list if he played more top flight football OR involved more on crucial moments in 2nd DiV...but he's just playing for "playings" sake...hence the GIMMICK

Luka Modric is literally the Luka Doncic of football (except Modric created that role lol). Both play at the pace they choose to and it works out for them. Modric is too good with the ball at his feet for opposing players to dictate his speed of play, as he will simply bypass most to all pressure applied on him. Honestly an astonishing footballer and we will never see anyone else take to the pitch like he does.
