Thanks for watching! I think unistrut is a good option and is more affordable and more easily sourced. You may have issues lining up the strut holes with the roof tab adaptor bolts. Unistrut allows you to mount hardware to the top, but not on the sides as easily, which may limit your mounting options for solar panels. However a deck should attach nicely to the top of the strut.

Did you use the 10 or 15 series 8020?
I used 15 series, which is 1.5” x1.5”
