What a Timeless peace of Music! It is the Harmony and the celebration of Human spirit conversed in a few simple notes! It is a very French and only could be done in times of glorification of everything beautiful, times of Baroque! time of Louis the Sun-King!
@Lili1741 So you enjoyed the concert, that´s great. Thanks for letting us know ! (hmm...you´ve got a fine ear, I have never detected any particular accent in french performers, but as you say...it´s a matter of personal taste) cheers!
@peipuss It was great! It was in a wonderful church in Milan (the one of Leonardo's "Last Supper") and they played Couperin's "Leçons de Tenèbres". The atmosphere was perfect, but I don't like to hear French accent when people sing in Latin. It's a question of tastes, I imagine... I've already been told that Italian accent in Latin is awful, but I cannot hear it:-) Anyway, I really liked the concert
❤😂lully est le plus grand compositeur du baroque

One of the best I have heard from Jean-Baptiste. Great performance and delivery by Les Talens!
Merci pour la mise en ligne de CD historique.
It is a shame that this fantastic double CD is out of print. We should lobby to have it available again.
An incredible music. it is truly a baroque music when you can hear the pomps and the glory in the theme.
Excellent!!
Very nicely done, thank you for posting this gem.
Very nice! I'm going to a concert of Les Talens Lyriques this evening... it sounds really nice
