Portland State is a good school; I've really enjoyed it. Most of the teachers I've had there have been really great teachers. What's important anyway is the actual desire to learn. If you have that natural curiosity there won't be an end to your learning.
I can't wait to go here. Im graduating high school and I just got accepted earlier this week for the upcoming fall term. It seems like a really good, fun school to go to. I'm going for medical school.
@LorOfMelody It's actually pretty nice. I really enjoyed my first year there. If you are staying in a dorm... Choose the Broadway dorms.. Much nicer than most of them. Teachers are nice and helpful. Campus is big and definitely non-traditional... It's right in the middle of downtown. So there are a lot of other types of people other than college students roaming around campus as well. Very fast, very busy... But it's fun and I liked it.
lol there are some bums that hang around campus sometimes, it's open to the rest of the city, but I have seen security chase them out of the library. None of them have ever hassled me, and I have been there for 3 years. Not even asked for change. You leave them alone, they'll leave you alone. PSU is pretty nice, some of the buildings are older, but they aren't ghetto run-down and falling apart. Some are brand new and really nice.
I know! There should be a video about all the crazy, homeless people that live on campus. Were you around when Cedric the monotone, gospel rapper was on campus? Or that one guy that couldn't read and would get up on the Parkblocks stage and attempt to read the bible. Or the crazy preachers, they're always fun...
Isn't it strange though, to have a football stadium named with one of state animals, "Beaver" Stadium. We should sue your school for that, regardless. State over university. We would win.
I mean, the Oregon state mascot at Penn State? Wtf? If anything they should rename their stadium to Paterno Stadium. Your school is not worthy of our state icon, nor is it the same state.

Portland state is a diploma mill, and PSU is PENN STATE UNIV.
