The key stat to remember about VT is that they are ranked #1 in the nation in returning productivity. Their entire starting offense returns and the defense returns many key players plus they plugged some holes with the transfer portal. Look for VT to win 9+ games.
Georgia Tech has their hands full with this schedule. 5 to 7 wins is what youre looking at, hopefully not worse thatd be horrific.

@@netdragon256 Sure, but just imagine UGA having to compete against a school with more financial resources, like GT, if they joined the B1G. All it would take is investment into the program, like good coaching staff hires and an AD that knows how to fundraise. GT has more Millionaire grads then any other university.
Georgia tech will be better than 5.5 I think we win 6-7 games this year possibly more if Santucci can turn around the defense. Faulkner is the most underrated offensive coordinators in the nation and with king back for year 2 I think it’s lookin good.
SMU could be a surprising dark horse in the ACC. Very good last year, got screwed in Bowl selection playing a 6-6 Boston college.
SMU fan here. You could make the argument that we were screwed, but only up until the point where we lost to BC.
If SMU wins the ACC then the conference will instantly implode because every member but SMU will vote to blow it up.

Once the 2024 deadline passed in august of 2023 we could no longer leave the conference until 2025… im not sure where you are seeing all these fsu fans claiming we are gonna be out by this year. I interact with way more fsu fans than most non fsu fans by virtue of being a student here… so i would know. Regardless of if we manage to be out by 2025 or not, The relationship between fsu and the acc is untenable so it’s only a matter of time before it’s over.

Virginia Tech will be one of the better ACC teams but they will still find a way to lose to a bad team like Syracuse when they travel to the Dome.

Dablow's Church that he used to launder money to the players and recruits with isn't as effective with NIL. Plus he refuses to use the Transfer Portal to improve his roster. So his players leave but they aren't replaced with incoming experienced ones unless they are recruited out of high school.

Just a suggestion: instead of explaining everytime about how a team "can't win or lose 9.5" games"; just say (for example) "If you think Clemson is going 10-2 or better, bet the Over. If you think Clemson is finishing 9-3 or worse, bet the under".

I'm from metro Atlanta but you have GA Tech winning AT Syracuse, a playoff sleeper? What? Huh? Ever heard of Kyle McCord - a probable all-American who got yelled at for no other reason than not beating national champs Michigan? And Fran Brown from UGA? And all the transfers from the SEC going to Syracuse? Huh?
PS - I'd agree that Tech could win at home, since Syracuse is horrible on the road and a road game for Tech and the only thing Tech to a very cold place mind you
Miami is the most over hyped and under performing college football team of the last 20 years. Partly why the ACC tanked. VT sucking the last 10 years hasn't helped either and I'm a Hokie
Clemson ran tge best pound for pound program from 2015-20. But allot of tgat was fortunate recruiting. If tgey brought in a high four star he played like a high four star player. The magic is gone now and the brains of the run are in Oklahoma now. If tgey don't have a big year this year then Clemson fans just need to get used to 8-9 wins

I think you got some things wrong about FSUs recruiting/transfers. All the players you mentioned going to the NFL were transfers. I think two of them had blue-chip transfer ratings. This year, we have 10 blue-chip transfers coming in. Although the recruiting class ranking looks low, it's only because it's missing the top end (and some of metrics they use don't make sense). Either way, Mike won 9, then 12 regular season games with "lesser" classes. No reason to think they're not going to be just as good if not better than last year. Take the over.

ACC teams who i think i get more than 10 wins? None lol. Clemson i dont expect to be great team but think they could pull out 9-10 wins. FSU with DJ Ukelele lol i dont think they win 10. Maybe idk..Miami 9-3 at best? NC St 9-3? Louisville 9-3? I see lot of 9-10 win teams in ACC..Not GT tho. Lol

I'm a Georgia Tech fan and you are usually pretty fair to optimistic when it comes to Georgia Tech. You are right though. The question is can they replace their QB and be able to pull an upset or two and try to go back to a bowl. I hate to say it but even when they have supposed to have been good they find a way to disappoint me all the time. 😢 So I wouldn't be surprised to see a stumble and regression from last year but damn i still hope not.

Miami fan here, love the channel. Generally agree with these assessments. I know this is going to sound like a typically Miami fan thing. But I think people are too high on FSU this year. If you look at what all they lost. FSU’s defense kept them out of some serious trouble last year considering a true freshman Miami about with his second ever start kept Miami to within 7 points in Doak. FSU loses Fiske, Verse, Coleman, Travis. Just those pieces alone with only recruiting 1- 5 star since 2021. FSU also pissing off the ACC with lawsuits and wanting out, so odds are most likely going to rule against FSU even more this season. I think maybe 8-9 wins tops. With all those players last year they still managed to barely beat BC, only beat Clemson because Clemson didn’t have a kicker and barely beat a Miami team with 6 true freshman starting in doak, barely beat a bad UF team. When you add up FSU opponents records last season it was something like 55-67 or something like that. That was with all of their star players that are now being drafted.

Eat what words? Fsu didn't leave the acc last June or July like you said. They didn't leave in January like you said. They didn't leave February 15th like you said. They were in the acc in 2023 and they will be in the acc in 2024, just like I said. I can't be wrong and you can't be right.

@@JonathanReed1970 small chance they leave for the 2025 season. A little over 50% chance they leave for the 2026 season. But they aren't leaving for the 2023 season or the 2024 season, so you'll have to keep kicking your prediction can down the road.
