I don't have mm2, but I think at the level at 4:30 you have to time it so you are above the flag pole exactly while the thwomp hits the edge, causing the screen to shake and the flagpole to touch you

The more surprising thing I think, is that there's actually a good 3d world level
Making Thwomp levels in 3d world is a lot of fun. Gives me a lot of platforming options for level making.

Dave, you're right, that is taken from Lost Levels (which I prefer to call Mario 2 but can't when talking to others due to USA's Mario 2 being a rom hack of a different game) 1-1. And that Goomba there in the block is made to reference a mushroom.

I ate half of an entire pumpkin pie this morning so I’m good
You know, I'm half and half. On one hand, I have a pizza, my chest pains aren't acting up, and my house is the cleanest its been in months. The bad news is that I slept poorly, the house is clean because my aunt and uncle came down to help with it and we had some serious family talk now that my evil step mother has moved out of our lives, and the future is a bleak uncertain mess. I wish I had more pizza.

Go to the bottom of the archive EVERY TIME Dave, please. That's where the most interest stuff is. First clear on a day old course is so boring in comparison. That stuff that stays uncleared for over a year, THAT is the challenge worthy of DGR.
My dad's sister Ann also lives in Pennsylvania so she was also hit; and just recently where I live in Illinois, we were hit with about two or three inches of snow

Will is Will Riker, first officer of the Enterprise. He frequently gets overexcited around chairs, and so has to be stunned to avoid creating yet another diplomatic emergency. Hence, "fire at Will".

Aaaaah, that music makes me miss the original Mario Party so much. I would love it if they ported some of those games to the Switch.
