Captain Treeko Honestly apart from the botched battle mode, I found MK8 to be one of the best Mario Kart games. I've logged so many hours into this game. But I definitely see and understand the concerns some people have.
wow, i'm suprised. I mean, ya there are AMAZING tracks like sunshine airport, mount wario, the f-zero maps, um... wow im having a blank havent played in so long lol
@@duckd788 Nah I agree. The battle mode (balloon) in mk8 deluxe is really underwhelming. The battle courses are awesome and Renegade Roundup, Shine Thief, and Bomb-omb blast are super fun. However balloon battle is just not the same. It used to be my favorite battle mode in previous games...but now it's just eh.
@@sschafi1 Actually, nah, for some reason it's another guy called Masato _Honma_ instead, similar name, but not related to Masato Honda in any way; also the guy playing in this particular track is Kazuki Katsuta from another jazz fusion band called DIMENSION, so there's that as well lmao
Not at all…there are pieces of music that do that to me all the time. You never know when or even why sometimes but that’s why music is such an amazing thing 🫶🏻
I really do love how Mario music (mainly in Mario Kart) brings out a full on jazz band. As someone who's favorite genre (among others) is Jazz, I certainly welcome it.
This stage, THIS DAMN STAGE! literally it took me a whole freaking day to complete this track in 1rst place on it's cup at 200cc, there was always this ONE machine that was so annoyingly fast af, that it was nearly impossible to pass or get a good distance from it, and whenever I did, you guessed it, Blue shell -_-, Even if I passed it 1rst place, some bs happened the next tracks, it was literally the hardest cup I've ever done in any MK game..... atleast the music was relaxing, god

I used to hate this track once; kept sliding onto the rocks after the glide near the end of the course (plus the sand made me underdrift). The music made up for it and now it's one of my favorite courses. X)
Everyone is talking about the sax but no one is mentioning the cheery, upbeat drummer. (Both are amazing, as well as the whole band themselves of course!)
Everything from 0:44 until the loop doesn't play in normal gameplay, only when viewing highlight reels. I am 1000% fine with Mario games going with jazz.

The one thing that pissed me off about this track was that it was mostly underwater so you barely got to hear the sax part of the track.
In the final lap though, you can hear it the whole lap, only sped up.
And this mix in particular is the one you hear in the highlight reel.
